This is a fantastic restaurant- the food is top notch and really is value for money. The service is efficient and polite, and since we're regulars we get free dessert occasionally and the staff is always up for a chat, no matter how busy they are! The best dish here must be the honey pepper eel- it is absolutely amazing. The Fu Kin fried rice is also fantastic.
It does get very, very busy in the evening so book a table. We once had to wait an hour and a half to get a table, but as always, the food was totally worth the wait.

I have been to this restaurant many times, so I could count as a regular. We've always been with a Chinese friend but last night went I went alone, it was a totally different experience.
We had made reservations but upon turning up and asking for our table, we we just kept waiting by the door. When I asked, eventually a guy (who looked like he was in charge), he said we could not be seated until our whole party had arrived. when I queried why he has not told me this from the start, he just started being rude to me and said he'd cancel the booking. How is that for taking rudeness to a new level? Isn't the customer the person you want to please, not get rid off?
I've always liked the food here, but I think I can happily look for a new good Chinese. I don't need to take service like that, no matter what the food is like.

This is one of my favourte Chinese retaurant in London Chinatown, depends on how busy it is, but you don't normally have to wait for long, but when the food comes is always worth the wait.

Looking forward to eating here again. We visited recently and were delighted with the food, service and price.
We did not have to queue to be seated the restaurant was full and shortly therafter a queque formed at the door which was wedged open by customers
Our order was taken immediatly and we both had starters which came quickly and were tasty, chicken statay and spring rolls. The sauce was lovely.
We both had chicken curry and rice to follow and felt it was the best curry we've both ever had, so tasty and a good size portion.
The service was fast and efficient, no fuss or chat - we liked that , the waiters checked our table and placed an overcloth on a spill between courses.
It was very well priced.
We eat out a lot in London and this place serves excelllent food.

Been going here for years since i was a teenager.
I am chinese myself and can honestly say the food here is great if you're looking for something fast and nice.
Price is reasonable but if you're looking for good service, don't ever bother trying it out.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good chinese food.
ps: they do the best sweet and sour pork in chinatown !

Went here recently with a couple of friends and my Chinese flatmate who is a regular.
We had the crispy duck, lobster with noodles, sizziling egg tofu and minced pork, and 'golden pork' (not on the english menu for some reason). The food was AMAZING and I was surprised how much lobster came with our noodles. The pork was to die for and I especially loved the tofu. And the best part was that the whole bill came to only £25 each and we'd had a couple of beers each as well!
Services was fantastic too but most likely because my flatmate goes there all the time so they were really nice to us and even gave us a free pudding at the end!
I will definately go back and highly recommend going with several people as the chinese do so you can enjoy several dishes. Should also make a reservation at this place cause it's always packed!

It was terrible right from the beginning: we were sat to the messy table, served by number of people who couldn’t explain anything what was on the menu or couldn’t bring the drinks in one go.. My partner got his drink straight away whereas I had to wait until I almost finished the dinner. Food wasn’t good at all. We went to this place as one of the local Chinese takeaway staff recommended but that was a huge disappointment.
It wasn’t busy at all but it took ages to get food, to get drink or bill. As soon as I finish one meal, they rush to take the plate as if they wanted us to leave quickly. We also noticed that they give much nicer service for Asian customers who sat by our table.
I must remember never to go back to this place and I will never recommend it to anyone.

Went there last night, enjoyed the food and the service. However we did not order the famous sea food, so may go there ago and try.

We visited this restaurant during a recent trip to the capital.
The food was average, the service was poor. We did manage to get a table immediately. However, those unfortunate to follow us into the restaurant had to wait between 5 & 20 minutes for a table. At one point there were so many people waiting that both doors (inner & outer) were being held open (it was a cold evening!) and people were crowded around our table.
The service was slow, the waiters generally were miserable (with maybe one exception) and curt. 2 out of 3 main courses were served together, then we had to wait 10 - 15 minutes for the last one. It only arrived after a second enquiry. I hate eating before everyone has their food but, in this case, it would have been stone cold if I had waited.
I don't expect I will be visiting London again any time soon but I will certainly notot bee visiting this restaurant when I do return.
