The Breakfast Club Angel

Went to the Breakfast Club last night with my partner and a mate because we couldn't get tickets for Indiana Jones, so we figured this was the next best thing, 80's wise.
Glad we did - food was excellent and plentiful, the cocktails were spot on, the ambience was chilled and friendly, and the servioce was absolutely exemplary.
Really couldn't have asked for better, and we'll definitely be back!

Very disappointing. We went for a quick breakfast between Christmas and New Year and had been looking forward to it as it looked like a nice place. The staff were downright rude when we asked for our bill, they were clearly missing a few staff as everyone was having to wait 15 minutes for a drink and 30 minutes for food. When the food did arrive, it was exceeding average - I much prefer the Workers Cafe at the other end of Upper Street, which at least is an honest greasy spoon. The bar area by the door was overflowing with used dishes and glasses, they only had one guy behind the bar who was clearly unable to deal with the amount of drinks orders on his own and there were only a couple of (rude) waitresses on hand to take orders. I won't be going back.

I love this place. The staff are all so cheery and the food rocks- where else can you get a full-on American breakfast (yummy pancakes) with a cocktail at 10pm?! The smoothies rock too. Some brill music and retro decor as well. At the weekend you often have to queue for a while for a table and may endup sharing one but its all part of the fun!
