The Brasserie offers excellent food in a relaxed environment. Living locally, we visit regularly on weekday evenings, weekend mornings and lunchtimes. We have always had friendly, non fussy service and a very enjoyable meal. The detox juices are amazing too.

I have been here twice now. The first time was a weeknight meal in the summer with some colleagues (7 in total. We had very professional, attentive, english speaking staff and good basic food.
On the basis of this experience I went again on a Sunday with 5 other friends for winter lunch just two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the staff were less than attentive and we had to leave our seats to chase them down to order more drinks - their English was poor and they did not understand our orders (we had to repeat several times). The food was also basic and good, but pricey considering . We had to order from the fix priced menu and what was basically a pub lunch with ordinary service ended up costing £25 pp with one drink and "obligatory tip" which is put on these days. Suggest you book a table at a good gastro pub for better service and quality food if you want a nice sunday lunch. Will not return. Shame.
