Le Peche Mignon

Somebody please give the chef here a prize for BEST SOUP IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. I love most things in this adorable little place, but had never tried the soup. Today I did and was blown away by a perfectly seasoned and sublimely tasteful butternut and beans soup.

I am usually a salt and pepper fiend with soups when I eat out, but this chef's touch meant that the balance was just PERFECT and even I did not need to add anything.

Genius.

It is a bijou place and and it does get cramped, so it pays to choose a quieter time of day to visit.
