This place is very quaint, when we went it was extremely busy and we had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive. The salad I had was absolutely delicious but I would have to say the food there is wasted on my kids! It's a little on the cramped side so they were getting a bit agitated. Perhaps I will go with just my husband next time.

This is a lovely addition to Highbury, something it's sorely needed for ages.

We often go to meet up with friends in the neighbourhood or for a quick lunch before kick-off at the Emirates.

The food is perfect for a quick bit and the ambience is lively and with just the one long table inside and a bench outside (plus the rear garden) it is a cheery convivial atmosphere.

This isn't the place for a leisurely lunch but for the nearest thing to a proper modern French bustling cafe, I wholeheartedly recommend Le Peche Mignon.

I love this little cafe, quality food, in a great atmosphere. It is a real asset for the neighbourhood. The communal table brings the people together and you start to chat and know your neighbours a bit better. I love the garden with it's colorful furnitures and plants. But more than the delicious coffees, scumptious food, i love the genuine smile of the people working there, i am not a number there. I would recommend the place to anybody you want the experience of a real nice place.

This fantastic cafe seems so out of place in our slightly downtrodden area of town.

Quite simply, this is the best coffee I have had in London. It is incredible.

It's deservedly popular, so be willing to wait for 10 minutes on a Saturday morning while your coffee is made. The atmosphere is really friendly so it's not much of a hardship!

I have been coming here for the past 2-3 years, a friend of mine who lives nearby took me there and I have gone back for the great coffee and food. The food is all freshly made and the pastries are delicious...There is also a lot of other french food, cheeses, hams, etc...The staff are also very friendly. There is a small garden now at the back which is lovely in the summer. The only 'down side' is that it is quite small but I guess that is also what makes it special. Amazing place!!

This place is simply the best!

We came accross it whilst viewing a prioperty and that cafe pretty much convinced us to buy a derelict house just so we could get the best bread and croissants down the road! The high point was that we did not have a kitchen for several weeks and were forced to have breakfast there every morning... When the kitchen was eventually ready, the kids were not convinced it was a good thing at all!

So far, everything we have tried there has been amazing and the staff is so friendly!

Top marks!
