Went there last night. Pretty nice though not sure I'd agree with it being the best restaurant in Chinatown. Still well worth a visit though, good lobster soup (with Italian garlic bread?), duck was nice, but can't really hold a torch to four seasons, delciious veg, very very nice tofu with crabmeat, good ho fun.

A bit pricier than I would have expected, for a similar quality of food it was about 50% more than you would pay in say Wong Kei (though a much nicer eating experience).

I went there years ago and we hired a karaoke room, with a chinese banquet - that was great - I'd strongly recommend that to anyone looking for a big corporate/friends night out.

Good stuff anyway, I'll be back at some point.

The best chinese in Chinatown in my opinion. Nice clean, modern restaurant with very friendly staff.

Very tasty food, but without the grease and msg often found in chinese cooking.

The salt and pepper squid is stunning - I could eat it all night. Lovely crispy duck and good selection of usual chinese favourites.

The only gripe I have is that the ribs are very small, hardly worth bothering with.

Would recommend the Royal Dragon to anyone for dine in or takeaway.

We went to London for the weekend with friends and decided that on the Saturday night we had to have a meal in China Town!!! After looking at previous reviews on different Websites we decided on the Royal Dragon! And we weren't disappointed.

We were greeted at the door with friendly faces, within minutes they made sure we had a drink. The food was the best we had had for a long time. We went for the Peking Set Menu and the duck was just mouth watering. Good night had by all, went back to hotel very happy. Great night out!!!

The meal i had here was not only the best chinese i've ever had, it was one of the best i've had in a resturant in a long time.

me and a my friend where greated straight away by the friendly staff, and give a nice table. after browsing their drinks list we went for a jug of a cocktail called leo, which was friuty and very tasty.

we ordered the vegetarian set menu, which was about £14.50 per person and consisted of three courses.

the food was so good, i don't have the suitable vocabulary to describe it. the aubergine was perfectly cooked, the sauce on the bean curd was fantastic and the stir fryed vegetables where perfect.

i was so very impressed, and strongly recommend this restaurant. i will be returning next time i'm in london.
