What can I say about La Trevi? The food was absolutely amazing, meat that melts in your mouth, sauces to die for and a maitre d' with a sense of humour! The prices are reasonable and we were well looked after by the staff. Definitely the best meal my party have had in a long time, with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere! I would certainly recommend this place.

Agree that steaks are good here, but went this Saturday and was disappointed. I had the spaghetti with meat balls and my wife had the Veal with Parma ham. Both meals had way too much salt to the point that it ruined the meal. Could not taste anything else. Not event the bolognaise sauce which is usually very good. The spaghetti was also not freshly made, infact the whole dish was probably premade and reheated in the micro-wave prior to serving. This place is not cheap, so would expect only freshly made pastas. It could quite easily be cooked while the customers are eating their starter so there is no excuse for this.
The service was also not quite right for me. We ordered mixed side vegetables with the main course. My wife was served first, then the waiter turned to me and said "you're ok aren't you Sir." and promptly took the vegetables away which we had paid for. Very rude. Safe to say we wont be going back. Left hungry and very disappointed :(
