North China

I ordered a Peking Duck at 15:30 to be deliverd at 18:45 but it was half an hour late and didn't arrive till 19:15. That would have been alright if the duck was good but the skin was not only not crispy which Peking Duck should be but it was anaemic looking in colour. I know it was difficult to keep the skin crispy as it was a delivery but it should at least have been a brown roasted colour, instead it was a pale white colour, meaning it had never been brown and crispy before leaving the kitchen. The kitchen had obviously not bothered to even try probably thinking that they could get away with a bad dish as it was a take away. It was hugely disappointing.

I recently visited the North China. The atmosphere was great & we had a wonderful meal. The staff was very attentive & polite with a very much client centred approach to their service. The owner himself came to our table to explain some of the many delicious dishes on offer from authentic Chinese cuisine. I would recommend everyone try the Chicken in Yellow Bean Sauce & for starters I would recommend Mixed Starter & Fried Dumplings. All the food is homemade from fresh ingredients oh! Not to forget the Crispy Duck with Pancakes. Reasonable prices & good wine list.

This is our 3rd visit, it's always good but this time it was exceptional. Staff always friendly too which is a bonus for a Chinese :)

Food was served within 5 mins of us ordering - never a good sign! Food was cold, dry and incredibly greasy... Really really bad.

Fresh and well done food with the special taste from the Orient, also staff always ready to please according to your taste and preferences. It is one of the few chinese restaurants i can rely on.

This is our favourite family restaurant and we visit every time we have something to celebrate as the quality of food is consistently fresh and tasty with exotic and interesting combinations to choose from so it is never dissapointing.

The staff are friendly, calm and efficient and very sensitive and respectful of the customer needs. The decor is authentic and tasteful creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere which creates a space to forget about everything else and enjoy the moment.

We are going there tonight to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday....thats the other thing, it appeals to all age groups.

OUR ALL TIME FAVOURITE RESTAURANT!!!! 10 out of 10...every time.

Thankyou to all the staff at this fab restaurant which is local to us. We are lucky.

Food - Very tasty. Well cooked and presented.

Atmosphere - Relaxing. Freindly. Peaceful.

Service - Perfect. One of the best I have experinced. Staff friendly and very chatty when taking payment.

Price - Not very expensive. Good value.

Chinese food is not my favourite but this place is the best Chinese retuarnat I have been to in London. Harden's - stick this one in your top 5 next year!
