Jewel Bar (Covent Garden)

I reserved a table for 8 people at Jewel Bar for New Years Eve 2012 and we had the worst night ever.

I had pre-booked a table for £100 (plus £15 entrance fee per person) and when we arrived at the bar we find ourselves seating at a table in the corner where there was no light and the air condition had broken. It was very dark, warm and there were broken glasses all over the floor. To make it worse the female toilets were not working and there was only one. I had to stay in the queue for over half an hour and the toilets were very dirty.

I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone...

Misleading information from the beautiful but rather inattentive hostess re what exact table we were going to be 'given' on night of arrival despite hefty deposit... Talk about moody and rude!!! Me thinks she works in a private members bar god bless... ditch the frown! Apart from that a lovely experience with excellent cocktails and despite the mix up a fabulous time was had by all....
