Eating at this restaurant was an absolutely dreadful experience. We were just looking for quick bite of good Indian food in more than a week, during our holiday to London. We were first gestured to come into the restaurant by a waiter when we were having a look at the menu outside, who then stomped off when we told him we would like to go through the menu first. We didn't make much of that and thought he had to rush in for something else. We found the same chap came to our table to take our order. This time his demeanour was somewhat pleasant but we quickly noticed that all he was trying to do was to recommend the most expensive stuff on the menu to us and strongly suggesting we order more than we wanted to. Us not doing that clearly didn't go down well with him because what followed after that was atrocious service. We were not given water even after asking for some (on the contrary he removed the empty from our table) and then given some only after our 2nd request. The plates as well as the food were plonked down on our table with a thud by the same guy and our questions met with monosyllabic responses. We did notice however that the same chap was being very pleasant with the other non-Indian guests who we can only presume were trusting his incorrect recommendations. The food was extremely spicy even for our Indian palette and not great. This was definitely NOT good Indian food. We asked to speak to the manager and were told there was no such person! We finally did speak to someone and complained about the shoddy service meted out to us who said he would speak to the chap concerned. On our way out we passed our 'cheerful' waiter who had now come to expect no courtesy from whatsoever. Sensing our feedback would be cast aside we told him that we thought his service and attitude needed work. He quickly ushered us out of the restaurant so that we guess none of the other guests could catch on as to what the problem was and then vehemently denied any sort of wrong doing on his part. We then told him that if he was not willing to take any feedback then there was no point and walked away only for him to shout back at us to 'learn how to order' when we go to an Indian restaurant. On asking him whether he was from India he said he would never want to be from India and was from another country. We could only look in amazement at this delusional chap who did not want to have anything to do with India, working in an Indian restaurant and telling Indians how to order Indian food! We had a good laugh about it later but thought it best to warn everyone to eat at this atrocious restaurant at their own peril. And do pass on our 'best wishes' to the delusional waiter should you have the misfortune of encountering him.

This was my second visit to restaurant because my friend would like to try some dessert there. The food weren't really good in my first visit so I was not really keen to go for the second time. But because of my friend, I went there again. Enough said, I had a terrible experience with the waiter. We were not being informed clearly that we were not suppose to order any dessert without having to order the starter or the main dish. The waiter suggested us to order drinks first. So we end up order mint tea and were expecting to order a dessert later. Unfortunately, we were treated very badly because we were then told that we were not suppose to get any drink if we do not want to order any starter or main dish once the waiter brought the tea for us. It was too late to walk away because we already got our tea with us. And it got worse when we refuse to order any starter, the waiter treated us like we do not understand on how to order food in a London restaurant. It was so embarrassing and did not end there. When its time to pay, I was told that I can not use my debit card for the amount of £6.95 (that I do not think is a problem to other restaurant). I was thinking those stupid waiters maybe thought that we could not afford to pay food in the restaurant although I have got better experiences in having fine dining in a much better restaurant in and outside London before this for I have been working all around the world. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not only I have experience the horrible food before, I even experience the horrible waiters as well. What more could you get?

What a horrible place, I cannot believe these people have such a great location but cannot seem to take any advantage of this. Bad food, bad service, in all bad everything. FINALLY THIS IS NOT INDIAN FOOD, JUST BAD FOOD. The worst restaurant in the world.

Service is absolutely AWFUL!!

Once you sit down, you are CONSTANTLY RUSHED to order in a very very rude way. When we were ready to order, the waiter told us ‘Finally!’

I could probably write volumes on this. To keep it short, we've cancelled the order, and were still presented with a £7 bill for Tea, Water, and some pampudum that we didn't even order.

Absolutely infuriating.

This place has ruined our entire weekend.

Don't let it ruin yours! Go elsewhere!

Horrible restaurant, horrible service.

Then every minute they pressurize to make an order. And when said we are ready to order, he tried to force the dishes we should order. So finally, we ordered and also ordered papadum with it. The paapdum comes with chutneys (looked used by other people). And after few minutes another waiter comes and aks if we were done with the chutneys as we were still eating the papadum. We said yes, and the waiter took that to others sitting outside.

Finally when the bill arrived, we were charged one pound for those used chutneys which we did not even order. Also, a 12% gratuity was charged whereas entire london charges only 10%. The waiters are very impatient, impolite and have no etiquettes.

We went to this restaurant with two children (1 year old and 3 year old).

we had ordered chips and butter fish and two starters and two main dishes. The total amount was about 67 pounds.

The employees were NOT friendly and they were in a big haste, trying to get us out as soon as possible. They even refused 4 girls.

They even charged the indian bread we got in the beginning. Normally, you get this for free, as part of the service.

We do not want to recommend this restaurant. It was terrible.
