some people obviously come on here and right after a 1 bad in a million good expriences. seriously this place is amazing.. food is great. The food is cooked just the way you like it add and chop and change whatever dish you want. i don't know where the other guys have been but the service is fantastic. I seriously cannot fault these guys! just to make things simple... I have family that will drive all the way from southampton just to eat and have a drink here! Who ever the chef is and the owner.. you have a great partnership!

Very bad service..Called to book a table, only to be told that they only take bookings for 6+ people. For anyone else, its first come first serve basis.

So we arrived around 6pm on Satirday, only to see tables for less then 6 people had the reserved signs on! Asked the waiter why we have to wait for a table when the rest of the tables were all empty, but was told they are reserved.

Kicked up a fuss as to why I couldnt book a table for 3 people, when tables for 2 were reserved. The waiter couldnt answer me!!

Terrible service, managed to get a table eventually however were told that we only have it for 1 hour. Now im a fast eater, but if they take majority of the time cooking the food, then bring it out and tell you that you only have 10 minutes, is quite disguisting.

best service ever received in spice rack, we went to celebrate one of my friend's birthday in spice rack stanmore on 19th june sunday.

it was rocking everyone was very helpful,specially sandip who served us most of the drinks...

thanks very much for the great time...

we will come back again for sure!!!!!!

Honeypot spice rack rubbish service. I rang today to book a table for tomoz and the service I got was not acceptable. I am a regular and all I got from the person who could't even hear was 'it's fully booked' and he hang up the phone. How rude! If I ran a business like that I wouldn't have one. Not impressed.

Spice Rack has the worst customer service that I have ever seen. I had made and take away order on the number: 0208-206 1024 at 17:58 and had made an order.

I had then gone to collect my order at 19:00. I had asked a staff member if my order is ready to collect he had replied to me that it will take another 5-10 minutes and will be with me as soon as possible. I had waited for another 20 – 25 min for the order and then had asked the staff member, if my order is ready. He came back and replied “your order has not been placed you may have ordered at another spice rack”, I then explained him that this is the place I had made the order and showed him the number that i had call on and said why have you just made me wait this long as you could have told me in the starting. I had now waited over 30 minutes for the order and for this matter to be resolved. The staff members kept telling me you did not make the order here, I felt as if they where accusing me off lying to them that I had made an order. I then told the staff member, I am certain that the order had been placed please check with your staff. The staff then replied to me that they can take another order again but still there was no consideration of the customer (myself) in the inconvenience this had caused me. I felt as if I was blamed for the order that I had called for. I got my order handed over to me at 20:40.

Surely there is something going wrong here the customer care is not satisfactory as it should be. Spice rack tends to care about there staff more then there customers.

This is for people out there wanting to place a order over the phone.

Please be aware of what great inconvenience Spice Rack can cause. I would never recommend Spice Rack Honeypot Lane, London, HA7 1EF.

Note: There food is great but there service is unacceptable.

If they were able to balance the both Customer and Staff Spice Rack would be a better Restaurant.

Apart from their dodgy passion fruit drink the food was top notch!! :D

The flavours were amazing, haven't had a proper curry like that in AGES!!! The portions seemed small but they filled us up, my mate was able to take home a doggy bag. I'm salivating just thinking about the food... whoo!!

Fair enough the venue isn't the greatest, as its within a pub and as soon as you come out your surrounded by loads of chavs, pimped cars and the smell of tobacco. The toilets look as though they were a feature in Slumdog Millionaire... :-s

But the waiters' were really friendly, they catered to our requests and were great with giving advice on the food. We had Bollywood films to entertain us and the general ambience was really chilled...

If your more interested in the food, and the slight turn off's with the venue won't prove to be a problem then Spice Rack will make a great night!

Infact I'm on my way there now, but this time I'm bringing my draw-stringed pants to get the most out of the visit!!!! :D

went to this place on Saurday 2nd April 20110, the service was awful. The food came in bits and bobs. We went a group with kids and babies. No baby changing facilites. They are so tight in the place they did not turn the AC on. and was hot. Management did not give a damn. I 've been to this place a number of times and this is the worst experience i have had. Other people from our group have said the place has gone downhill very fast. This was the last time i will be vistiting this place. The Stanmore Rack is much better. May be management should go there.And learn Customer services and also how to turn the AC on.

Very Impressed!

They do Shisha too on the Terrace... one of the best Shishas ive had in a long while..

They have a new Shisha area being built.. Its HUGEEEEE!!!

Looks like this might be the new hang out...

Will have to wait and see till their main venue opens next month, but for now... what an experience!

Food is so damn good too... at first i wasnt sure with the traditional pub feel, but the more i go there, the more i am appreciating what ever design they have chosen..
