Margarita Loca

It had been a while since I ate at Margarita Loca but I was craving some Mexican food (I am originally from California, so it is in my blood). I had two American friends visiting and we had been shopping and seeing the sights and were very hungry. We were in the area, so popped in to Margarita Loca at about 8:30. There was no wait and we settled in to the super comfortable leather and concrete seats facing the kitchen. Our server was prompt and efficient. She explained that things come from the kitchen in no particular order, but as they are ready. That's cool, we were sharing some things anyway. One friend had a spiced mojito, one had a mexican matador and I just stuck with corona. All perfectly cold and lovely.

We had the chips and guacamole, beef tacos, chicken and prawns fajita was divine, and the gaucho rbeye steak. it was super delicious. The beef tacos were crispy and light and the tangy sauce just right. I have had these in Baja, and they were nearly as good. The pork ribs are delicious and it is so nice to get them on proper mini corn tortillas. The steak with chips and salad is great! Delicious steak and crispy salad. The guacamole tastes very good, but I wish it had a little more salt and lime in it (which would help it to stay green as well) but that was my only criticism.

Dinner was served quickly and with a smile and we were out on the street again in no time to enjoy our time together.

I never write these reviews, but I felt compelled to because we were all so satisfied. And it was cheap too!! A great value and very satisfying without being overly filling.

What are you waiting for!? Pop in. It is totally worth it. I love this place. And think it is some of the BEST Mexican food in London. By far.

Brilliant place to be, to have party especially. I went there by my friends reccomendation and celebrated my stag night. The bar - sexy, the music - fun. Staff is very helpfull, polite and cute. They do amazing steaks and chilli con carne. The deserts are good too. We had an amzing time there and you should too! Don't miss out on the fun, tequila and cow girls. Yeee-haaa!

my neighbour recommended that i visit because she had a wonderful 30th birthday there, i went for my 24th . I must say it was really good fresh food, juicy flavourful steak and massive sizzling fajitas. The pretty spanish waitress was nice and friendly , we stayed for the late bar, this war also busy with a trendy party crowd, cocktails were generous and enjoyable actually, as i dont normally try them. 9 out of 10

i went to margarita loca , last sunday it was brillant atmosphere the place look much altered ,i am enjoyed the food was wenderful and amazing test i was greatful to be there in my opinion loca is the best one in battersea, the staff who were very polite and friendly they are treats as very good ,there is not the least doubt about that ,in this occasion i would like to give an advice for everyone to go there and enjoyed the great food and cheap prices. be sure you will find great pleasure ... in conclusion the place was to much unique , we had great time and lovely evenning ..i like the latin music..the hats as well. also we had a nice coktail colorful ,thanks a lot for all the members especially the kitchen staff i mean the nice food ,,i promise i will seize the first opportunity to go there

Tried to persuade my Dad not to take us all here, he wanted to celebrate his birhtday and treat us! ( could have thought of a much better place) Think the worst thing was the waiting staff who were rude, bad-mannered, didn't know how to serve and the majority of them couldn't speak English. It was Saturday night so it was busy but there was no organisation by the Manager at all. The music was so loud that you couldn't hear your food order being called whern they brough it to you. I chose pork ribs which came to me completely covered in barbeque sauce, so you couldn't see what was underneath, it was truely over cooked and not nice. Rating out ot 10 for the whole thing? 3.

Remind me not to ever go there again!

Enjoyed a cheap meal with friends. Food is average (apart from fajitas which were lovely) but the music, drink and atmosphere are great!

I went to this restaurant for my birthday, we didn't book a table in advanced but they seated my party of 8 with no problem. The atmosphere were amazing we all had great fun, it was so lively it really kept the party buzz going!

Great food and excellent cocktails!
