Emperor Of India

If you have not visited the "Emperor" and experienced their quality Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine then you have missed a treat !
The standards they uphold for their variety of elegant and tasty dishes add credence the the title "The Emperor of India",
The food never falls below the highest standard, the staff are a delight and the owners, Ajmal and Shima Ali, who are always "front of house" work tirelessly to ensure everyone of their guests are treated with impeccable courtesy and attention.
The standard of the variety of curried delights is totally authentic and equals or surpasses the finest dining I have experienced anywhere in the Indian sub-continent.

A great place for a fine dining experience with dishes that offer a very refined taste in Indian cusine, sensuous to the palate. Always so much more than another meal.
The owners have managed to develop their recipes without compromising on taste or authenticity and know all about how to engage with their clientele.

I visited this restaurant first with work collegues, we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were attentive without bothering you to much like some other places I have dined in. The food was second to none. Everyone I know always have a favourate Indian restaurant, including myself until I experience The Emporer of India. I have sinced returned for families get togethers and birthday celebrations. I recommend anyone who has not visited this fabulous restaurant to book as soon as you can, enjoy the Indian cuisine you have been missing.

What a refreshing change to find an Indian restaurant that serves authentic Indian Cuisine in a predominantly english country setting. The restaurant is tastefully done up and managed by the owners, who are always keen to go the extra mile. Servise is outstanding and all the dishes we ordered were scrumptious. The Lamb chops and Ocra were my personal favourites, but all our guest thoroughly enjoyed everything that was served.
The new outdoor addition is perfect for parties and lunches. Ample parking makes it yet another reason to frequent it. will be going back soon.

This is the best restaurant I have been to in London. Has a very personal touch and the staff are very professional as well. The Indian food feels authentic caters to all sorts of tastes and is worth it. An excellent venue for corporate events as well. The Emperor of India sets a very high standard for all other restaurants in the UK.

Fantastic Food, excellent staff and great atmosphere.
Have eaten here many times now as the food is not like any other Indian restaurant. There is a real difference in the variety of dishes and the food is of a very high standard. Highly recommend the Lamb chillie fry and Murgh Shakoti. The nice thing was that they altered one of our dishes to be less spicey and it came up perfect.
We went back the other day and they have created an outside area to eat. Which put a whole new dimension to popping out for a curry as we dined alfresco, lovely in the evening sun.

Fresh, delicious and mouth watering aromatic food on last friday eve.
Service was relaxed and pleasant. My wife and I visited them without a booking but still managed to get a table in a minute or two so probably we were lucky.
We ordered for one starter paneer chilli, with poppadoms and chutneys and for the main we ordered just one mixed veg and a side daal. For the bread we ordered Alloo (potato) paratha (bread) and Cheese Naan.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, we were full as we were not too hungry to start with.
