I can't see what's not to like about this restaurant. So the decor might be a bit cheesy, but everything else delivers. Actually, the decor isn't that cheesy!
But the food was really flavoursome and filling. Not overpriced. Attentive and friendly service. I can imagine this place being very busy during office lunches, so I was grateful to pay a visit during one of the quieter times.
I'd recommend this restaurant.

This is an excellent local - service is friendly and attentive and the food is one of the best I've had. The chicken masala is absolutely divine (no unnatural colours here either) and their okra is always fresh rather than coming out of a tin (if they can't get it fresh, they won't make it). We had a main each plus rice, naan, chapati, veg and a glass of wine & beer, it came to £34. Absolute bargain. The only gripe I have is that their house red (the only one to come by the glass) really is not great.

I dined at this branch last week with friends and thought it was a fantastic!! The red decor is really vibrant and the selected Goan specialities were tasty especially the Lamb Xacutti and the Hara fish curry. We also had bibinca for desert which i haven't heard of before but it was excellent as it was well combined with the served ice cream. A must visit again!!

Simply dreadful. Way over priced considering what arrived at the table: the smallest portions I have ever seen in any Indian, or anywhere for that matter, that were way below average in terms of quality. The keema nan was almost inedible, and tiny. We also asked for iced water several times and luke warm water arrived instead - instead of just admitting they had no ice they just seemed to have a 'if we ignore it things will be ok' attitude.
I don't normally write reviews but our experience at this place was so bad that I felt that I owed it to other diners going out to spend their hard earned cash - don't waste your time and money at the Palms of Goa.
