Vine Leaves

Have been a couple of times and the service has always been good- attentive but not too overbearing. We went for dinner on Monday night. It was quiet and there was only one other table, so atmosphere subdued but did not affect our meal.

Portions are always large so we didn't order starters We had chicken and lamb kebabs- excellent, lamb souvla- a little overcooked. Great potatoes and chips (chunky) with a basic greek salad. Greek wine (a little watery for us). 4 people, total £50.

Good basic Freek food, well priced for a nice family meal out.

Hi,

Me and my wife are regulars there. We only found out about it because our friend used to work there. It's not the fanciest restaurant you can have but... The food is really tasty and very reasonably priced. Alcohol is not too expensive either.

Service is at acceptable level, atmosphere - a bit better. Overall - nice food, nice owners and a very good value for money.

A group of 9 of us went here the other night and although it was quite empty (highlighted by the fact there was no music playing either) the food was great and portion sizes huge!

me and my boyfriend went to the vine leaves restaurant on a sunday night and it was rather empty but the place is cosy the staff very polite and the portions enourmous. he is a vegeterian but that wasnt a problem, we shared one starter of grilled haloumni which was absolutely delicious,he had the vegy mousaka and i had the squid,we were both very happy and very full by the end of the night,and most importantly they have the illusive keo beer :))

i have been to the vine leaves twice and both times had the meze.SAVE SOME ROOM the meat at the end is amazing. you will really enjoy your meal and will want to return.
