We are a regular diner at Satya. Excellent food. Where else will one find dishes called Malabar Chicken, Keralan Ginger Chicken and Cochin Chicken - to just name a few. Each one mouth watering and different from the all too familiar chicken tikka and lamb korma.
Two years back, I convinced my Company to have our Christmas party at Satya. They agreed reluctantly. The entire office staff absolutely loved the food, the ambience and the brilliant service. A lot of them are regular visitors now.
Not to mention that our extended family from Delhi loves Satya food so much that they have to be taken to Satya everytime they are in London.
I only wish that they had home delivery service!

This is Uxbridge's best kept secret! I can only think of one other place I'd pay to eat in this town and I've been living here four years now. My favourites are the fantastic crispy dosias, Keralan ginger chicken and the mango lassi. It's not your average Indian restaurant with heavy, creamy north Indian curries and flock wallpaper. It is excellent value for money, has attentive and courteous staff and it spotlessly clean. Whenever I go there are plenty of Asians eating there and they would not pay to eat sub-standard food when they can cook better at home! We feel really lucky to have this place on our doorstep. I've never had slow service here, unlike one of the other reviewers, even when it's packed.

I've recently been to Satya restaurant and I was really impressed. It was a small-run business, and the staff looked after us very well. The food was excellant, and a nearby fellow diner was saying that this is one of the hidden gems of Uxbridge, and that he and his family have been coming here a few years and have never been disappionted.
I had the vegi-mince dosia and then followed it up with malabar chicken, dal spinach and lemon rice. The whole meal was well balance, not heavy or covered in fat, and more importantly, the next day, I didn't have that heavy bloated feeling.
I'll definately be going back again.
