Seriously horrible restaurant with, as your other reviewer says, no atmosphere. It's just a big vast space that hasn't been developed properly as a restaurant because it becomes a night club at night - and it shows. I've been at all times of the day and I can verify this. The service is listless and I don't like having my credit card whisked away so don't do it. As another reviewer said, the burgers are completely unmemorably. I would just avoid and who cares whether it's cheap or expensive - it's just depressing. I think that's the best word to describe it. Depressing!

This place has no atmosphere whatsoever and the downstairs function area - where we had our Xmas dinner last year as a company - resembles the black hole of Calcultta. The food is so-so and anybody who thinks the burgers are fabulous is doesn't get out very much.

Does everyone else think they were dining at the Hilton? For all but one main meal to being under £10, I dont think you could find cheaper dining in a nicer enviroment in London!

I should know i am 55 and have lived here all my life. I am a regular at Sway and have never recieved the treatment some of you people say you have recieved.

Stop badmouthing a great restaurant and people, get out and visit SWAY!

Went to Sway 17/10/08. Beautiful dinner, really nice chicken curry and very nice steaks.

Service was very efficent. Didnt wait long at all for food or drinks. Gets very busy but still somehow you feel very relaxed and dont have to scream to talk to eachother.

Wines were nice but cocktails were great!!

Will definately go back and make my friends go aswell.

Wow! I was apprehensive about this restaurant after some of the reviews I have read but I was pleasently suprised. The service was excellent, the staff were enthusiastic and helpful at all times. We were greeted at the door and escorted to our table which was brilliant. The food was great - good portions and good value for money.

Some of these reviews are so harsh..... did they think they were at the ritz???

I booked a 20 corporate group booking. Arrived and was treated like they had not received booking. Waited over 30 mins for any food. Terrible service, tried to complain to the manager and received a total lack of interest.

Booked into Sway with the theatre package. We had limited time available, twice had to ask for your drinks order, and waiting 30 minutes for our main course, which meant we had to rush our

meal and our son missed out on his dessert. Made it to the theatre by the skin of our teeth, despite having to run.... not impressed at all! Although the burgers were great.

Eat in Sway last night as part of a prebooked Theatre package. Food was fine, service was good from being greeted at the door to the serving staff. The place was very busy and could not accomodate all who turned up. but this did not impact the time taken. We were looked after by several different staff, all of whom were pleasant. Overall a pleasant experience and good value.

Having read previous reviews for Sway I was somewhat apprehensive when my friend told me that was where she had booked for a girly catch-up dinner. However, I was really pleasantly surprised.

The atmosphere was buzzing and fun, but not so loud that you couldn't talk to each other. The service, while not overly friendly, was swit and attentive but we did not feel like we were being rushed.

The food was extremely good value. Even at normal prices it was very reasonable, but with 50% from toptable the bill was a very pleasant surprise.

We started with some starters to share - a mixed seafood platter and then 3 mezze sharer type things. The seafood platter was undoubtedly better than the sharers which tend to have a deep fried mass produced feel to them.

For mains nearly everyone ordered a sirloin steak. These were cooked as requested and came with a generous helping of chips and a nice bearnaise sauce. Even the salad garnish was dressed which is very rare in England!

The cooking is not haut cuisine, but it was tasty, and even with four bottles of wine, the bill for five us came to less than £100. You can't argue with that!
