Carluccio’s

The most fabulous food and drinks this side of milan. completely authentic, generally quite speedy with the service but the prices are a bit steep.

the carpaccio was tremendous, possibly the best thing i have ever eaten, but to charge about £8 for a plate of raw beef is a bit cheeky. also, it is hugely cramped and extremely noisy, but if you go in for things like that, then this is the perfect place for you...

i love Carluccio's and come back to their various restaurants again and again...

also attached to the restaurant is a shop which sells wonderful Italian products- from your bog standard panetone to truflles, fresh pasta and even a wide selection of over priced hampers...

mouth watering stuff...
