The Place

The Place restaurant inside the White House Melia Hotel is a great find, sometimes it can be rather quiet but it is a rather large restaurant. During the daytime they run an a la carte menu and during the evenings a buffet style menu. Sunday's however is a fantastic day to go as they've just started a eat as much as like brunch from 12pm to 4pm. They have a mongolian barbecue, pasta station, sushi and my favourite..... crepes station with some yummy fillings! all for £28 per person, makes a bit of a change to just a roast. The service is friendly and food will surprise you. I had a steak for my lunch and it was cooked to perfection. I imagine many people walk by this place as it on the quieter side of the road of Great Portland Street . Ask for a seat on one of the sofas by the window, they have a really Mediterranean feel to them.
