Olive garden is da shizz nizzle!

Takeaway for £6.50 pizza is a winning deal if you can't afford to dine in.... I'd recommend a cheap pint next door in Raynes Park Tavern beforehand...

This is a very nice spot. The service is friendly and the food is tasty. If only Raynes Park had a few more restaurants of this quality and value for money!

I have been to this restaurant 4 times now and every time it really delivers. The pizzas are enormous, and the shared meat starter even bigger! The pastas are delicious and the meat dishes (lamb, beef) excellent. To top it all there is a real buzz about the place and the staff are very friendly. Do also try their deli in the day time, they have a fabulous selection of sandwiches, cofees, cheeses, meats, pastas etc. - What are you waiting for!

I visited this lovely little restaurant last evening [15th September 2009] with a friend and ordered lasagne. It was really delicious. Very homemade with an excellent sauce. Plenty of Parmesan and the service was friendly but not intrusive. Chef came out to see if everyone liked it. This is a real find and something special for Raynes Park. Congratualtions. I will definitely be back. Good luck with this business.

This is a fantastic restaurant and every time i have eaten here, or had a take away, the food has always been delicious. None of this 'too salty' business.

Portions are a great size (possibly sometimes slightly too much) and they have a large selection of dishes to suit everyone. I have been here with my partner, family and friends with kids of all ages and the staff have always been brilliant.

I would definately reccommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food. The deli is also a massive bonus. Some things are quite pricey however when they are making them fresh every day with quality ingredients, the price does add up.

Definately a Ten out of Ten!

Friendly staff, good food, fantastic desserts and a nice change from your run-of-the-mill Italian "chain" restaurants that seem to pop up on every corner. Very enjoyable and would definitely go there again.

We are very local to Olive Garden and it is our favourite place where we go at least ones a week. As I'm reading through I would like to comment on last reviews. I have never experienced salty food in the restaurant and if there is something that you are not happy with, you should always address it and speak to the manager. Staff is always polite, helpful and service is very good.

I would recommend this place to anybody and it is one of the best in Raynes Park. Go on and try it.

I live in nearby Wimbledon and having read the reviews, I thought I'd give this place a try as I am a bit fed up of the Village's eateries. We went for a weekday lunch and it was promising to see the daily specials. I had the spinach and mushroom soup, which was homemade and yummy, but the chicken cacciatore main course was just too salty!

Pluses are it's very child-friendly with highchair and placemat, enthusiastic service and well-stocked deli next door.

Portions are huge, too huge in my opinion, hence the slightly pricey tag. I think they should shrink the portions and lower the charge accordingly.

I suspect it's cos Olive garden just has no local competition, so yes, it is the "best" of Raynes park, but that's cos Raynes Park doesn't have anything else to offer. So go to Olive Garden if you live in Raynes Park but otherwise, don't bother. Strada is yummier and value for money...

Fantastic main courses shame about the pud and the service charge which is not optional and shouldnt be charged on expensive wine when the wine is put on the table and not touched by the waiting staff. Real shame as it had such a positive start..
