Olive Garden (Raynes Park)

I will not go to this restaurant or deli again. I visited with a friend for coffee, we both had pushchairs (we were of course prepared to leave the pushchairs empty in the corner) and were asked to sit at a table for 2, I did point out that our children could not sit with us and in the end left as they would not let us sit at a table for 4!! What annoyed me most is that I was trying to support a local business rather than use Starbucks!!
I also attempted to buy some meats from the deli counter but was told that the machine had been cleaned and no more meat would be sliced that day....this was over half an hour to go before closing time! I have found the staff rude, un-accommodating and I will not go back.

I live in Raynes Park and love the OG restaurant and food. However, in the Deli today, when I asked a simple question about the olives the server answered me but them started, conversing in Italian to her collegue about my question as I could understand the English words in the sentence. I think that's very rude to speak in another language in front of customers that can't understand what they are saying. I work in the hospitality industry and this is a golden rule, never to do this in front of customers. I am so annoyed I feel like never going back!!

2 years ago when in Southfields I had the prawn risotto @ Olive Garden and it was awesome - I couldnt stop thinking about it - I went to Raynes Park last Saturday for lunch. I was concerned I was going to be dissapointed - if anything it was better than I'd had before - I had a pizza the week before which was good but I have had better.

Olive garden is da shizz nizzle!
Takeaway for £6.50 pizza is a winning deal if you can't afford to dine in.... I'd recommend a cheap pint next door in Raynes Park Tavern beforehand...

This is a very nice spot. The service is friendly and the food is tasty. If only Raynes Park had a few more restaurants of this quality and value for money!

I have been to this restaurant 4 times now and every time it really delivers. The pizzas are enormous, and the shared meat starter even bigger! The pastas are delicious and the meat dishes (lamb, beef) excellent. To top it all there is a real buzz about the place and the staff are very friendly. Do also try their deli in the day time, they have a fabulous selection of sandwiches, cofees, cheeses, meats, pastas etc. - What are you waiting for!

I visited this lovely little restaurant last evening [15th September 2009] with a friend and ordered lasagne. It was really delicious. Very homemade with an excellent sauce. Plenty of Parmesan and the service was friendly but not intrusive. Chef came out to see if everyone liked it. This is a real find and something special for Raynes Park. Congratualtions. I will definitely be back. Good luck with this business.

This is a fantastic restaurant and every time i have eaten here, or had a take away, the food has always been delicious. None of this 'too salty' business.
Portions are a great size (possibly sometimes slightly too much) and they have a large selection of dishes to suit everyone. I have been here with my partner, family and friends with kids of all ages and the staff have always been brilliant.
I would definately reccommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food. The deli is also a massive bonus. Some things are quite pricey however when they are making them fresh every day with quality ingredients, the price does add up.
Definately a Ten out of Ten!

Friendly staff, good food, fantastic desserts and a nice change from your run-of-the-mill Italian "chain" restaurants that seem to pop up on every corner. Very enjoyable and would definitely go there again.
