Booked for a night out with my girlfriend,on a Friday after being recommended by a couple of friends who said that it was a good night to check the place out as it was not as jam packed as a saturday.Still,it was pretty much full when we got here at 9pm .Had a nice table in the middle of the restaurant -nicely lit with lanterns and candles to set a tremendous atmosphere. The choice of starters was very refreshingly different with emphasis on tandoori food. This suited me fine as I had the chops and my girlfriend had the vegetarian starters of the tandoori paneer cheese.Great start--this was followed by the sizzling king prawns and a vegetable biryani for her and we had a couple of the lovely hot fresh naan breads as well as great "Frontier rice" and some spicy potatoes and a cauliflower dish.

Although filling,we were in the mood to eat so sat back and relaxed as we ordered a round of latte coffees and a chocolate dessert to share.Very satisfying!.

The whole bill for 2 of us with a bottle of good Rose' and a round of G+T's was £50 which was very reasonable. Will definitely return ,it's my mum's birthday in a month and she would love the night out here. The service and food definitely a welcome addition to this area.

This was truly a memeorable evening where we were greeted and shown to our lovely round table for 6 of our friends, and we felt as if were in the plushest parts of London and not in a place an hour and a half from the city!!.tremendous value with generous portions,we had a selection of the hot starters which were all delivered from the clay oven in the visible kitchen area---followed by hot sizzling platter mixed grills and the house speciality karahis served in authentic rustic style dishes...splendid!!! and all topped off with freshly made breads which were lovely. The excellent selection of wines recommended by the totally knowledgable maitre d' made this place feel as if the dining experience in itself is worth it all!!..add the excellent food and attentive service and i cannot wait to return to this place with my family.A hidden gem of a place
