i have walked past this restaurant many times before, and was very surprised at how good it is when I finally tried it. The food is fresh, try the spicy chicken rice! Also, the meat is halal, as a local, I'm only sorry I didn't try it earlier! Where else can you get such good quality fresh food for the price?

Went to this restaurant on a Wednesday evening last week having walked past it several times. We had soup and dumplings for starters and chicken for main meal.

They have all the raw ingredients on the counter and cook everything in front of you. For Chinese food, this was really nice and not full of preservatives or the gloopy sauce you normally find your meat covered in.

For £5 for a main course with rice (with enough for me to take home and have lunch with the next day!), this was fantastic value for money and definitely feels like a healthy option if you like Chinese food.

The food is great. Enough creamy and spicy. My favourite would be King prawn red creamy curry, not too spicy. The price is so reasonable that don't have to cook and have your meal over there everyday. And also, love the freshly squeezed juices. Only 3 types but that's good enough when it's really nice. You cannot get it anywhere in London plus free delivery within the radius.

Service in terms of preparation is quick as you can see how fast they cook and serve to your table. Certain times are quite pack as the place are quite small with less than 10 table of 4.

I doubt there's Thai in London this good at these prices. A curry with rice £4.20!

Why bother shopping and cooking?

Their curries' ingredients are fresh, the variety and abundance of veggies is always satisfying, though the quantity of meat in the curries varies from time to time, but it's generally satisfying. The creamy red prawn curry is the best.

Their Chicken Sate is also great, the sauce flavorsome, rich, thick, with a hint of chili (ask for extra if you love to pile it on).

The stir fry dishes are also good but I think the curries are better done when comparing to other Thai places.

You can eat in, take away or home deliver.

Eating in is a bit like a fast food experience but it's a cool atmosphere as there's always plenty of people in there with knowing looks upon their faces that this is one of London's best kept secrets. The chefs stirring, steaming and frying away in the same room adds to the authenticity of the place. Service is generally courteous and efficient, in fact for London it is great, but again it's much like a fast food environment. So busy are they, that sometimes there's a lack of attention paid to how thorough the crockery is cleaned but all in all, no complaints with decent Thai at these prices. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a lovely accompaniment.
