La Vigna

I am an Italian living and working in London, and everytime I go to La Vigna, it seems to me that I am back to my home country. the service is simply wornderful, with waiters always wishing to serve you rightly. the choice of wines is excellent and some really rare in London, as the Dolcetto, a tipical red wine from our North-west Piedmont that is going so well with all the tasteful dishes that La Vigna is preparing.
The Pizza is amazingly big and good: it seems made in Naple indeed...!
What can I say more...oh, yes, the price...what price? it's the cheapest Italian restaurant in London, with no frill bills attached!
Try it to believe...! I will give the La Vigna a Three Star Michelin, but it would undermine the reality, indeed: what Michelin, a French tyre company, knows about Italian Food...?

Everytime I visit London, La Vigna is on my to-do list. It's the best Italian resturant in London, I would even say in the world! The food is bursting with fantastic flavours and the atmosphere is all you want it to be. It's small, intimate and the staff is so nice and welcoming. You will not be dissapointed!

My boyfriend took me to La Vigna last Friday night for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed!
The venue, whilst smallish, is actually quite accommodating at the back of the restaurant.
The waitors are warm and friendly and very attentive.
The food was amazing, and didn't take too long to come.
I had the spinach and ricotta tortelloni and it was full of flavour.
Price was excellent and I will definitely be coming here again!

We came upon this fabulous little Italian place quite by chance; we walked past and liked the look of it from the outside, then returned upon deciding against our first choice of restaurant, as that looked too pricey. Boy, am I glad we did!
This place has a lovely relaxed, cosy atmosphere, and the service was immediately attentive, prompt and friendly. My dish of chicken pieces in tomato and chilli was very good - and just spicy enough - but my boyfriend's choice was absolutely outstanding. He had one of the specials, stuffed squid with linguini, and it was the tenderest squid either of us has ever tasted, and absolutely bursting with flavour. There's a huge choice of dishes on the menu, with pasta, pizza, meat and fish dishes, and the portions are substantial. We had the house white wine which was light and fruity, and the desserts were delicious as well. The total bill came to around £55, which, given that we had 2 bottles of wine, is pretty cheap for this part of London.
We will most definitely be returning!
