This restaurant have the best chicken biryani ever! It has delicious fresh chicken, and the rice is absolutely fantastic! It is made from basmati rice, contains nuts and raisins. They give free curry sauce or dhaal for free with chicken biryani which tastes more nice. I go to that restaurant sometimes every year, but the food cost £5.50. I need to save up money to go there and eat there delicious food. And i would recommend everyone to try there delicious chicken biryani!

Late yesterday afternoon walked up Brick Lane and back down to Sweet and Spicy for a great meal. Very helpful, cheerful staff who pointed out the deals. Highly recommended for a little bit of India.

I have been eating here for years and it's authenticity makes it stand out from the already-high standards set by Brick Lane eateries. It even outstrips the nearby Lahore Kebab house for food quality but doesnt seem to get the same recognition. If you can find a better Keema curry outside of Bangladesh please let me know.

A great no-nonsense eating house, both during the day and evening too. All the food is excellent and you can't make a wrong choice. I've been visiting on-and-off for several years and it's always been great. The water jug and goblets have been replaced with a water cooler by the door and the furniture has been updated a little since my last visit but it still remains a basic, friendly, honest no-frills street-corner eating house. Totally magical.

The best food in Bricklane. Well cooked, real Indian taste, and fresh. Have been going there for 8 years now. They never disappoint.

definitely agree, the best in Brick Lane, and I've tried most, the Paratha is to die for, so is the pilau rice, unbelievable and very cheap too, try the mint sauce also....everything is great.

Ive given the atmosphere a 9 but only cos you occasionally get Shoreditch hipster types in there looking down their noses at anyone not wearing skinny jeans and ironic moustaches, but they're everywhere and didn't put me off my great time spent eating amongst the local Bangladeshi/Pakistni crowd who are friendly and polite.
