Bombay Blues was an absolute surprise and perhaps a culinary paradise awaiting to be conquered in the heart of Purley. My family came by this hidden gem by pure luck and found the ambience on a Friday Night to be buzzing. Then again, we were fortunate to have coincided our visit with that of a DJ who blasted out Bollywood and western hits to all the customers delight.

The food was out of this world. I have travelled across many parts of India and the wonderful aromas of the spices certainly took me down memory lane. The starters were generous and our main course were freshly prepared and cooked to perfection.

Indeed my family and I were equally thrilled to meet the wonderful and beautiful owner of the restaurant, who made the point of personally greeting the us at the door and talking to all her Guests at the tables. The service from the waiters was equally impressive and we will certainly be regular visitors at Bombay Blues, perhaps one of the best restaurants we have been to in a very long time.
