Cafe Boheme

Food is ok here but service was appalling the last time i went - specifically some woman manager who was incredibly rude to myself and a colleague and kept us waiting and spoke so abruptly to us at lunch. We were quietly waiting for a table but her attitude was so poor and abrupt that we decided to go elsewhere. It's a real shame that people like this can ruin an entire experience at an average place.

Went in on the spur of the moment. The matre'd was extremely helpful sat us quickly at the bar area dining and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the fantastic food. The service was amazing, the food was even better, highly recommend the Onion tart.

Definitely will return. Whats even better, we ordered all the starters as my friend and I were 'snacking', 2 glasses of wine and a beer the bill came to next to nothing, we subsequently discovered it was a 50% off promotion night!! even better.

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful crowd, food and service. Highly recommended, you'll never feel your in dirty ol' soho!

I booked this restaurant for a large group on 30 January. The staff couldn't have been more polite and accomodating. The manager really went out of her way to make it a pleasant evening.

The food was delicous and the menu was really varied. I thought it was very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food.

I will definetly be going back again.

A great little relaxing place, excellent for a drink and snack after a night in the nearby Queens Theatre. The mango champagne cocktail was one of the best I've tasted and the cocktail list and prices were very agreeable. Food was fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. Over-all an excellent place which I would definitely revisit.

As a restauarnt this place is fabulous. staff are execellent and food is delicious. Excellent value for money.

As a bar this place is also brilliant, again wait at the bar is never hideously long, if you are sitting excellent table service means no thirst unquenched. Cocktails are the best in London especially when you compare the prices to some of the members only bars etc.

Been here on a few occasions (inclu. late night drinks, birthdays etc), and have never been disappointed! Staff always seem very attentive and are friendly. The atmosphere always seems to be busy and "buzzing" as others here have described it, but still a relaxing ambience. Food isn't knock your socks off fantastic, but it is still very good at reasonable prices (They cook a lovely sirloin, mash could be better, they seem to do main courses much better than the side dishes). I'm heading to Soho tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up there again...

i took my girlfriend to Cafe Boheme and we absolutely loved the whole experience. The food was excellent, the oysters delicious, and the wine sensational. Our waiter was very attentive, humorous and always ready for an excellent recommendation on the menu.

The atmosphere is brilliant (& very French) with a cellar type candlelit ambiance feel to it. We stayed for hours!

One of the more original dining experiences I've had in a while.

Cafe Boheme is exactly what Soho is all about. Every time I have been it has been busy and always has a great atmosphere, the prices are very reasonable and the food and service have always been excellent. I would highly recommend this to any groups looking for somewhere that has a buzz to it and high quality service and food. I have been 10 times now and I plan to keep on going back

I have to say I disagree with the below review. I have been to Cafe Boheme multipe times and have taken a variety of people (young and older) and I have always been extremely happy with the service and especially the food. I eat out a lot and have been to many restaurants in London. This is one of the most memorable, not necessarily for its 'glamour' but definitely for the atmosphere and the food. We all have bad days! Definitely give it another try.

I visited this restaurant with 5 friends, we had a serious complaint which was at first dismissed by 2 waiters, who then gave us the bill when we had not asked for it - a not so polite way of trying to get us to leave. When we approached the manager he said he could not deal with our complaint and told us to sit down whilst he spoke to someone on the phone. We had our bill refunded but not the £5 we eache paid the bouncer to gain entry. I have complained to the cafe boheme email address and they have not responded. I would not recommend this restaurant .
