Buenos Aires Restaurant
your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
This is very close to home for us and we normally venture into Central London. Needless to say we are going back and making it a regular.
The steak is out of this world. There is a nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. The service can be a little slow but that is definitely cancelled out when the food arrives.

We visited Buenos Aires restaurant this evening to celebrate my wife's birthday.
It was our first visit and we were a little apprehensive having been told that the service was occasionally slow and the prices a little steep.
We really were pleasantly surprised !!
We found the prices to be very reasonable and the wines were definitely not overpriced.
Although every table in the restaurant was full by 8.30pm, the service was impeccable, the food (especially the steaks), was out of this world and the atmosphere was congenial.
The timing of the service was ideal, leaving a pleasant break between courses.
We were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne by the manager in honour of the birthday visit.
It was our first visit to Buenos Aires but it will certainly not be our last !!

Visited with husband on Sunday night. Arrived early at 6pm and place was dead so went off for a drink and returned at 7.15pm. Still dead but went in anyway. On taking drinks order waitress brought over toasted ciabatta with two types of dip and olives, all of which were really nice. Food order taken quickly, rib eye steak for hubby lamb cutlets for me. They both arrived quite quickly and were cooked just as asked, medium. Husband pronounced his steak to be the best he's had outside New York and my lamb was four really meaty cutlets. The only thing that spoilt it a bit for me was the fact that the meat came with nothing else so you were forced to order pricey sides. Quite expensive but the meat was excellent so I suppose you get what you pay for. We would go again but on a Friday or Saturday for a bit more atmosphere.

Steaks are generally excellent (better than the fancier dishes). The Argentinian merlot is superb. But service is slow. And they serve coke in cans: even Pizza Express serves coke in the classic bottle. (That detracts a little from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.
However they need t change their tourist maps: the Falklands are termed the Malvinas, but worse still, in brackets, after the name is '(Arg)'!!
Nevertheless they deserve to succeed
