Ive been going here for nearly 10 years with my family, and im 19. my father has been going to this place for over 15-20 years and not once have we felt disapointed.

The staff are very friendly once you get to know them and every time i go into lahore before even taking my jaket off the waiter brings my drinks and salad. Fantastic service.

The starters are amazing, I would recommend having a bit of everything really. By the way you cannot leave lahore without tasting their Lamb chops, if your not a lamb fan the chicken is very nice too. The prawns are pritty tasty. But normally Id order lamb chops, lamb tikka, and chicken tikka.

The main course is amazing as well, the currys seem to have a unique taste which you just would not find anywhere else. The lamb curry (karai roshe) is wicked, and then you have the chicken curry which is nearly as good. If your planning to go try the "methi chicken" this is spinage and chicken and it tasts good.

Deserts:

Ohhhhhh.... where do i start. you have the kulfi which most people prefer and honestly they are a must as they taste soo good.

If you like chocolate then trust mee.... try their chocolate cake with ice creame. Honestly it melts in you mouth, the taste of the chocolate cake is amazing and you get the nice melted chcolate on the side. Its basically a warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice creame.

The bill is reasonable, previously it was alot more cheaper but has gone up. But its still worth the money.

Anyways for all the people who havent gone... its worth going to.

A good venue for a no-frills curry. The mango lassis are delicious. I went on a Friday and opted for the lamb chop curry (the daily special) - which was very tasty - pilau rice, a naan and chick pea side dish - which was very good and surprisingly powerful. There's an off licence next door if you need to pick up a few beers beforehand.

Lunch for 2 came to about £35.

Hi All,

Last night I went to Lahore Kebab House. It simple amazing. No Decoration. No Fancies. Although I agreed the arrangment is not like a bit hotel but the quality of food is excellent. From the Starter till the Chilled Mango Lassi and Pan (Might be the Gora Party din't undertand what it is?). The main thing I like is that the as soon as you order the food is served within ten minutes.

Overall I suggest its worth giong there.

I have always found this place to be amazing. The succulent starters are reason alone to attend. My friend and I usually have some mixed starters, rotis, salad and kulfi. The bill for this is usually £20. You can bring your own booze. The Pistachio kulfi is simply the best I have ever tasted. The service is sometimes shambolic and you have to ask the waiters several times for top-ups of salad and bread. They also put a cheeky bottle of water on the table which we always hand back...whereas previously it was tap water. But this is minor stuff. The place is superb.

LKH is the best indian / pakistani restaurant in town. awesome, genuine and authentic food. I agree that its not in the most posch locations of london, and that the prices have gone up recently, but i am still happy to get the spicy and delicious food in those conditions and prices.

the better punjabi food i reckon you can only find in Punjab itself, add £400 flight ticket to the region in your budget :-)

I dont think your review was fair ,or it looks to me you dont now how the food should taste like, yes I agree the service is poor but? and big but the food is excellent,

its genuinely authentic, have a look at the people there and ask them their opinion they will tell you?

after 'andrews' review, I had to just neutralise it a little by adding my own,

ok the decor isn't exactly the IVY, but price/food comparison, it's excellent value, it’s hardly dirty, unless you’re the kind of person who only dines at the Savoy, and turns his nose up at places like these.

how anyone can say poor food is beyond me, unless you drank a whole bottle of washing up liquid before you had your meal,

personally, I don’t think this is even in the top 3 pakistani restaurants in London but it’s still nothing short of great food.

I would hate to dine at this place, and you sat on a table next to me, so please keep you promise, and don’t come back… never again

The food is exellent truelly, authentic. I have a restaurant (lebanese) myself and i been coming to this restaurant with my wife for twelve years still the best, I can assure you will not be disappointed with food.

The only criticism i have is the servise but it doesnt matter because the food makes up for it.

there was no bone in the boneless chicken so i had nothin to hold onto. other than that it was great! the background bollywood music was atrocious and it scared my wife and kids.
