Notting Hill Tandoori

we had prebooked a party table for 10 people. The menu was set and price decided. Upon arrival to the restaurant the service was poor..... staff rude. we received half the portions ordered and as charged for full portions and i mean we ordered 12 portions and received 5 portions. when complaining we were told that we had ate them and that each portion was 2 portions when we could clearly see from other customer portions that this was so untrue. when recieving the bill the restaurent had charged us for portions that we hadn't recieved. when asked to see the manager, he had disappeared after half an hour arguing the portions charged we had given up and paid £200 for a meal worked out at £90. would never go or recommend such a restaurent to anyone. poor service.... skanks on bill.... refused to take card....poor quality food..... and very embarrasing service for people wanting to hold parties/ get togethers in such a place. very disapointed and i was told we are in the wrong but we sure wasn't. avoid if u dont want to be skanked.

IWent to check it out as it is our local. Poor atmosphere, cold inside and the heating system is a heater brought next to yr table - so not very pretty. After 50 min ( FIFTY) of waiting for the food we got fairly average meals - similar to what I can cook. And I'm not a good cook. So... not a good Indian ... unfortunately, as it is only 3 min from where I live.

I have eaten here several times and have not been disappointed - the food is cooked fresh to order and this is evident in every dish, especially the vegetarian dishes (the brocolli bhaji is top drawer), plus it means you can ask for any dish to be made more or less spicy as you wish. The service has been faultless - attentive but not intrusive and always friendly . Highly recommended.

I booked Notting Hill Tandoori for my 25th birthday - they have GREAT food and the BEST service - I definately recommend this restaurant!!!
