Fantastic Vietnamese food, one of our favourites - we try and go there every month. Freshest ingredients and lovely flavours, the couple that run it are lovely and you can tell they work very hard to keep their restaurant running smoothly and their food at its best. The Pho is delicious!!!!! The little girl there is adorable, puts smile on every visitor's face.

We decided to go there after reading the reviews.

The food was delicious, full of good flavours, light and served in good portions.

The couple that runs it was charming so was their little girl who brought us the menu.

The prices are reasonable, good value set meals.

We will go back to try more dishes.

Thang Long is an absolute gem.

It's a tiny vietnamese run by the most lovely, genuine, and hard-working couple you could ever meet. If you're lucky you even get to meet their little girl!

The food is fantastic.

My personal favourite is the prawn and pork summer rolls. They're around £3 and they're so good I swear I could eat about 50! Their takeaway service is very efficient so I often pick some up on my way home from work if I'm too tired to cook.

I would also highly recommend it as a venue for a party. They are very accommodating, and it's not difficult to get the restaurant to yourself. It also ends up being excellent value.

A hidden gem in Camden town, just a few minutes from the frenzy of the market. Simple, good value menu with well cooked dishes. Great summer rolls, the soup noodles are good with fresh tasty broth and also had the caramel chicken which was tender and flavoursome. Good service with friendly staff.

I love this restaurant and completely disagree with below. We went to Thang Long for dinner the other night and ordered the 2 course for £10 deal. I had fresh spring rolls for starers and Pho for main. The food was DELICIOUS...the spring rolls were very fresh, authentic and the pho was amazing too - a very generous serving and very flavoursome. My partner ordered the curry which was also good, but no where near as tasty as the Pho - I'd say this is probably their speciality. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. It's a cute little restaurant - unpretencious and nothing flashy, but definitely worth going to if you'd like a meal that's good value for money in a casual setting. Definitely will be going back!!!

I booked a table at this restaurant for myself and my girlfreind the other day and was looking forward to it very much untill i tasted the food! OH DEAR! Very poor food and nothing like real vietnamese in the slightest and beleive me we know how it should be done as we eat at other vietnamese restaurants all the time and know alot about it and the flavours you should taste, so as you can expect, we where really disapointed, also the restaurant looked like it needed alot of work doing to it or it was just very new but still you do expect abit more from somewhere where you are paying a fair bit for a meal, we wont be going back again for sure and will be visiting our old one on Crouch End, much better.

I celebrated my birthday in Thang Long Vietnamese restaurant a few weeks ago. That was the brilliant time that we'd ever had. Everything was perfect: the food, the atmosphere, the staff and the services. We had 16 people and everyone enjoyed the party so much. We had the prawn summer rolls, spring rolls, monkfish curry the prawn toast, duck with orange sauce, caramel ginger chicken, stir fried egg noodles, shaky beef and the vegetables salad. They all were absolutely delicious. The other thing is the price is very reasonable. We paid just £15 per person included drinks. In there, at the moment, they have special deals which are 2 course meal for £9.00 and 3 course meal for £10.50.

I think Thang Long Vietnamese is the best restaurant in Camden for about 20 people-parties.

I love it and I will definitely come back there!

Fantastic! Modern and clean decor. Food was fresh and delicious, the owners were also very accommodating to our special requests. And they have fix price 2 (£9) or 3 course menus that are tremendously good value. We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed this. I love egg fried rice and this place is better than any in Vietnamese down Kingsland Road. Warm service in Camden is always something to cherish, and so are the summer rolls, succulent prawns wrapped in a treasure chest of herbs, nuts and lettuce.

We had paddy field pork with egg and the vietnamese duck, both of which were well balanced and very moreish.

The service was friendly and its worth getting off the 29 and checking it out. If only for that amazing fried rice.

Came here after having given up on Lemongrass round the corner (combination of impossibly slow service and overwhelming smell of disinfectant). Was very quiet, which was a bit offputting, but the warm welcome made up for that. One bowl (read "tureen"!) of noodle soup and a stir-fried chicken dish later and we were very happy. Food seemed simple, but fresh and zingy and very reasonably priced.

We even got to meet the newest member of the Thang Long family!

Would definitely go back if I was in the area (it's right by Camden Road train station).
