Mother Mash

After looking for the best bangers and mash place in Central London, I was happy to found Mother Mash!!!
I went there last week and I have to say, I loved it! The place is very cozy and quiet......good selection of drinks and desserts (although they didn't have the chocolate pudding that day but it was good coz I spent less).....
The price was very affordable, well-served portions, good selection of sausages and mash... and you can always order extra portions of some other stuff for a reasonable price...
The only bad point I have to mention was the service. There were 2 waiters, one of them was nice and smiley, but the blond one was moody most of the time and kind of rude when we ask for stuff but maybe she had a bad day... anyway, no big deal, being a waitress it's kind of stressing at times... so I've forgiven her... and I'll be going back this week again!!!

Mother Mash is quite simply fantastic, the paradigm of simplicity both in terms of its clear, appetising three-step sausage-and-mash menu and in terms of its minimalist, yet homely, interior décor. I struggle to find anything to complain about - everything works so well!
First, choose your mash. There are about five or six choice, from classic plain mash to mustard mash to, my favourite, champ mash with spring onion and other delights. Then choose your sausage (or pie, if you are so inclined) from such staples as Lincolnshire, beef and Guinness, pork and leek. Finally, choose your gravy. I recommend the farmer's gravy with red wine.
That is really that. Some decent sides on offer, such as French beans wrapped in bacon, and the drinks menu contains an eminently palatable shiraz.
The service is excellent, if a tad over-attentive. Can't complain at all about the price - a tenner and a bit will get you an excellent lunch or dinner.
I've been to Mother Mash on many an occasion (it's quite good for dates!), and I will no doubt return whenever I have a yen for good, simple, hearty British food.
