The restaurant is very pleasantly decorated with a nice relaxing atmosphere. The service was OK.

But the food...hmm.... The Onion Bhaji starter was very tasty and crisp. But I'm afraid that our main courses left a lot to be desired. Firstly, the food is not hot or spicy enough. The Vegetable Biryani tasted overwhelmingly of saffron and was sticky and unpleasant. In fact, I would describe it as "Uncle Ben's Microwavable Vegetable Rice" left in the microwave too long and smothered in Saffron. The Chicken Jalfrezi tasted like a weird cross between Ghoulash and Chicken Paprika with some overwhelmingly perfume-like flavours. Again, not pleasant and certainly like no proper Chicken Jalfrezi I've ever tasted.

I won't visit this restaurant again, but it does seem to be strangely popular.
