Rada Krishna Bhavan

Moved to the area few months ago and have been favouring the Vijaya Krishna around the corner. Tried this place last night and had an excellent meal. Chilli Paneer was great, aubergines brilliant, malabar very tasty. Thumbs up, and will be going back. Only let down was the slightly surly service; didn't appreciate the old trick with the remote card reader where they hand it over requiring you to add a service amount, despite the fact 10% is added to the bill automatically, and although the amount is included on your bill they don't write service charge next to it, so it does get a bit lost amongst all the names of the dishes, so unless you count them up u might miss it. A bit cheeky.

We've been about four or five times now and Rada Krishna is always impressive. Always a good, buzzy atmosphere and the food is superb. The paratha is better than naan bread, and I would definitely recommend the chicken malabar.
The staff are friendly and every time I have taken friends they have always been very impressed. I would say the best indian in Tooting and very good value.

I went on a wednesday, plenty of people there, the food is very good, fast service, and excellant value for money. The portions are not big but that is reflected in the price and just means you can have more variety. The decor is just what you expect from a 'English' indian, very tacky to add to the charm, all it needs it's lower lighting and some indian music and it would be perfect. Much better than the conveyer belt canteen feel you get at the many other curry places in Tooting.
The lamb madras was very good and try the sag paneer, the Maladoor special is very nice but ask for it hotter!!

Fantastic - one of my favourites in Tooting. My usual is the impressive masala dosa, the excellent prawn dupiaza, with some chapatti or some buttery paratha. This is properly tasty food. Pretty good value and a great atmosphere. I personally like taking a seat by the life size green god.

The best Indian I've ever had - no contest. Delicious, well-cooked food with none of the greasy or oily feel that Indian can often have. Chicken Methi is to die for, Lamb Saag is delicious - anything really! Great buzz, always busy. Top class place.

Fantastic place. Elephant head-dresses on the wall. Crazy-titled Sri Lankan specialities (who could refuse a dish called "iddly"?) and really friendly service. A bit cramped, but adds to the atmosphere.
