This is my absolute favourite local restaurant, reliably delicious. If you have not been before I highly recommend that you get the pre-meal snacks and pickles. The beet cheera is wonderful, as is the selection of dosas. We cannot resist their parathas or appam. The kulfi is a decadent way to finish! The staff are superb also.

One of the top Indian restaurants in London. Outstanding every time - recommend pretty much every dish I have had here.

Made the reservation, arrived and our table was ready waiting for us. The beer was extra cold, which is always a good start.
Starter was delicious, mains were great, lime rice wonderful, service impeccable, and bill came just under £30 for the 2 of us, including the service. Will go back.

A really exceptional little restaurant. Not only the best Indian food I've ever had but also the best vegetarian. Very friendly and informative service but not pushy and great value.

Rasa on Church Street is one the finest vegetarian indian restaurants I have visited outside of Kerela. A fantastic selection of south indian delicacies you will not find in similar restaurants. Their use of fresh herbs is delightful. Service with a smile, and very reasonable prices means it gets busy, so remember to book.

I could not agree more with the other reviews.
Fantastic food. Very friendly service. The best indian restaurant in Stoke Newington (there are many) and one of the best veg restaurants in London.

Couldn't agree more. Have been going to this restaurant regularly for over a decade and if anything it's recently got better - don't know if they got a new chef or it's just the influence of the new branch manager. The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the decor's tasteful and unobtrusive. I've taken many non-veggie friends and relatives here and they've all loved it. If you don't know what to order, eat masala vadai, banana boli, appams, thakkali curry, beet cheera pachadi, and black-eye beans. For dessert I'd recommend the mango halwa.

My favorite restaurant in London! I am not a vegetarian but seriously consider switching everytime I visit this fantastic restaurant. Friendly staff, to-die-for food, and humble yet exotic decor which creates the perfect backdrop for a night out with friends (you want good food and to concentrate on your dining companions anyway).
