Very decent and extremely reasonably priced Indian. A regular stand-by for myself and my girlfriend. Starters are always fantastic - I'd recommend the Masala Dosa - a delicious wafer-thin savoury pancake. The Rasam soup is chilli-hot and seems to have medicinal powers. Not the longest menu in the world but they are good at what they do. Staff are great - a really nice feel to the place.

Went out for an Indian, assumed that food would be good due to local competition, severely let down.
Ordered Kofta curry expecting some a lovely lamb kofta kebab in a indian curry sauce, was shocked to recieve processed meatballs looking identical to the Ikea meatballs we eat from time to time. We also ordered a Lamb Tikka Masala. This was nice an spicy (as requested) but it wasn't lamb tikka and the masala sauce was not a thick creamy sauce as I've come to expect.
The only plus point, the rice was seasoned and flavoured well with Cinamon and cardamon.
Very dissapointed.

This is my favourite restaurant in London, I've been coming regularly for a few years.
The food is freshly prepared, Kerala-style, and very good value for money: with less than £15 you're guaranteed to walk home with your belly bursting out! As I think I've gone through the entire menu by now, I can especially recommend the Masala Dosai and - if you have a sweet tooth - the Peshwari Naan, simply the best in town.
Until three years ago this was "the best Indian food in the shabbiest place", as a friend of mine put it; after refurbishment, the decor has become decent, if just standard.
Service is excellent and very discreet.
I keep bringing friends along, and they all come out enthusiastic. What more can I say?

I have been going to the Geeta from time to time for about 20 years ever since it opened.
The food looks very cheap but apart from the lovely masala dosai the dishes are very small as well. You need to order several if you have any appetite at all.
The dishes are all freshly prepared and very tasty.
The suroundings are rather simple and a bit dingey. The toilet is not very exciting.
The wine is fairly reasonable but its very naughty that the price in the window is about £2 LESS than on the menu inside. ( Unless he has sorted it out which I doubt ) As the owner is an accountant he should do better than that.

we first visited this restaurant for a take-away as my sister was holidaying nearby and were very impressed with the quality(and price) of the food.We went for a meal in the restaurant, this time on Christmas Eve and once again we were knocked out by the taste and flavours of the dishes. It's not got great decor but it is a great place to eat.

This is a fantastic restaurant. I live nearby and am leaving the area soon but I will be sure to return to Geeta's after I leave. The food is South Indian style- familiar dishes like rogan josh and balti are delicious but I also recommend the masala dosai and sag paneer. Prices are very cheap, I have been there with friends in the past where we have had more than we can eat and beers for less than £10 a head. The decor certainly leaves something to be desired but the service is very pleasant.

Geeta's restaurant is wonderful. It serves dishes from Kerala (South India) which are similar to my grandmother's cooking - and that is saying something! Anyone missing authentic South Indian food should go here.

After reading good reviews about this place my partner and I visited Geeta's on Friday and found the food absolutely terrible, What we ordered was not what we rcvd and we would never ever visit this place again. The only good thing is that Geeta herself was a very pleasant woman but we came away very very disappointed as we have visited many Indian restaurants with nothing but good things to say.
