I love this restaurant!! I travel all the way from Wales to eat here - the paneer is excellent! The milkshake is delicious, masala tea fabulous!! I strongly recommend Sakonis - definitely in my top 5 - all time best restaurants!

I have been eating at Sakonis all my life. I have therefore seen the prices rise, however, I have not seen a drop in the quality of the wide ranged fresh food, nor a drop in the friendliness of the staff. I do not see the problem of expense - it's a buffet so jus get your money's worth. You do not get charged £8 for a small paneer dish like most indian resteraunts. Sakonis is a modest place and demand for thier delicious award winning food is always high. I have to say out of all the resteraunts, Sakonis is the greatest and it will stay that way.

Sakoni's really needs to review its pricing policy. I took out a buffet for 10.99 and was disappointed with the range offered. It seems that the only vegetable used is potatoes? What about okra, tinda, cauliflower etc? Half of the range is chinese - with noodles galore - and a few mixed veg - surely this is cheaper to buy at a chinese take away! There were dried dosas, puris full of oil, dried out cucumbers and tubs that seriously needed filling. A very disappointing meal. Moreover, tyhe takeaway tubs offered are too small for the price.

The service is well under par. The cleanliness of the restaurant is shabby and does not match the extortionate rates of food. Staff are unhelpful - once they have taken the order you rarely see them again - therefore the 10% service charge is a great JOKE.

I have written to Sakoni and I am still awaiting a reply.

Its a rip off. They charge you too much for the buffet at both times (lunch & dinner).

the staff are not friendly they are rude. I hate plastic cups that they keep for water.

They charge so much and they cant afford glass or steel glasses for water. They should reduce the price and keep some friendly staff who has smile on their faces and should have some experienced staff.

What can i say I think the food was great but price was high. As a pharmacist I felt the oil content was slightly high and that it was not the most healthy of places. However my boyfreind loves my figure and says I don't have to worry yes you read that right boyfriend! LOL. All in all try it but only as a treat as its not the healthiest option. Growing up on the streets of queen park has made me appreciate this type of food more than others as there is no other place like this.

I am quite a big fan of Sakonis food but am horrified that they feel they can charge such high prices. I would understand if they spent some of that money redecorating the restaurant which is in very poor condition and has looked exactly the same since i can remember....a very clinical look with worse than garden furniture!! Toilets are disgusting!!! I use cleansing gel even after i've washed my hands!

Food is good but definatley not worth the prices that they charge......

Myself , my husband, my 3 year old, and 5 year old pay no less than £50 a time. Just not worth that much. I used to go there more regularly but have now noticed it is not even half as busy as it used to be...... Its about time Sakonis management realised that people will not continue to pay what they charge. A few SaKonis have already closed down because they could not afford to stay open and if Wembley carry on this way i think they'll be next.

So overall nice food but certainly not for those prices!!!!

I was advised to go to Sakonis in Wembley and told their vegetarian food is very nice. And indeed I found the buffet lunch delicious with a great variety of dishes and done at the moment. The athmosphere was nice and unpretentious and one feels like in India. The personnel simple and kind. I had a small child with me and was offered a child's chair. Service was good.

Good quality vegetarian food for money value.

MY FAMILY (OF 5) AND I VISTITED SAKONI'S IN WEMBLEY YESTERDAY & I FOUND THE DINNER BUFFET OVERPRICED (AT £10.99 + 10% SERVICE CHARGE). THE CHILDREN UNDER 7 ARE HALF PRICE (AT AN SHOCKING £5.99 + 10% SERVICE CHARGE). THE FOOD IS NOT THAT GREAT IN A BUFFET.

THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND IGNORANT, THE CO-ORDINATOR COULD NOT SEEM TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING.

OVERALL FOR THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE SERVICE I WOULD RATE THIS RESTARAUNT 2/10

I ANYONE DECIDES TO GO, THINK TWICE!!!!!
