Prince of Ceylon

The restaurant has had a makeover recently but I don't think that this has added to the atmosphere. In fact it had little. The service was slow but firendly enough. The menu was quite short ,in a strange order and lacked quiote a few "favourites" The food was ok but hardly inspired and we had the feeling of been there, done that and would not be that keen to return.
The bill was extremely reasonable.

I have eaten here several times over the last 15 years.
The most enjoyable was about three years ago when they had the adjoining shop and a Sri Lankan band so that I could dance.
Unfortunately, although I am a fan of Sri Lanka, its food and the lovely people, on every occasion I have been disappointed by the low standard of the mostly student waiters and particularly the food.
I dont like sending food back but embarassingly one of my friends did just that because it was really just so aweful.
I have never had such bad food anywhere in Sri Lanka!
Its such a pity that the owners dont seem at all concerned and do something to sort it out.

Why dont you publish my previous scathing review of the Prince of Ceylon.
I do not want other innocent customers visiting this eatablishment , thinking that they are going to eat "FOOD".
It looked like dog food and tasted like it. When complained, nothing was done and we were given the £100 bill, by some so called manageress.
