Although the menu does not set the world alight, straightforward dishes are executed well, and portions are good. Main courses of lamb kofte and wild mushroom lasagne (from the specials board) were very enjoyable - and superb value with a meal deal. I have been to the Camden Bar & Kitchen a couple of times and have been struck on each visit by the limitations of the starter options; a bit more variety would be great. Service was friendly but slow - more staff needed, those working were frantic!

I live in Camden Town, and regularly come into the Camden Kitchen on my lunch breaks. The staff are lovely and the food is always good.
The eggs benedict is my personal favourite, and its served till 4pm (score!).
I'd reccomend it to everyone...just not on a Saturday...cos it gets a bit crazy with all the people in there :)

My first and last experience at this place. We just ordered some starters and were expecting a bit more of food on the place for the price asked. The staff ignored us when we tried to ask for the bill and only when we went to the counter they seemed to remember we were there (the place was empty!).
A total rip-off. I remember every time I pass by in Camden...
