Found HAZ online when I was looking for something new in the City that I haven't tried before. My friends and I were keen to try turkish cuisine. We were quite glad to see quite a few vegeterian choices listed on their website menu. Phoned yesterday afternoon for an evening table and the booking process went trouble free.

When we arrived the man at the reception promptly showed us to our table. We tried the turkish beer and quite liked it. Complimentary bread , humous and olives arrived swiftly. The ambience of the restaurant was simple & modern. The waitress was very polite and attentive when she took our order. Tried their Sabzeli Kofte (Falafel), Hellim (Grilled Cheese) and Sebzeli Borek (pastry) for starters between the three of us. All the starters tasted good and were enjoyable.

For the main courses we had the Turlu (mixed vegetables, pepers), Musakka and the Haz Set menu. Both Turlu and Musakka looked & tasted too simple. There was no wow factor. They weren't bad , but weren't great either. They both came with a tiny portion of basmati rice too . That helped make the main courses a little more sumptuous.

Overall - decor and starters were good. Main courses were a let down. Not sure if I would be rushing back there again soon. Might do after a while and try something different from their menu.

Have just been for a business lunch. Excellent food, bustling atmosphere, slightly unfriendly waiters but overall very enjoyable and good value for money. I will be going back.
