We eat out a lot, specially in west hampstead area,
where you can find a variety of italian restaurant, end we really think that hidden treasure is the best sea food restaurant of all north london.
We never had a bad meal, the staff is very attemp to give the best service ever.
The portion are very generous, specially the lobster gra'tan is the must.
All our portughese friend all enjoied this little treasure.

Utterly awful place. I took my girlfriend here and the food was shocking and service the worst I have experienced. By all means go there yourself to form your own opinion but the truth will out.

We're both Italian and love a good pasta and especially decent seafood. When this restaurant opened a year or two ago, it was fantastic. Service impeccable, food absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was very charming and typically Italian. Then something changed.. I was told by other Italians that the restaurant switched chefs once it started making money, and the quality of the food has since suffered tremendously. Over-cooked pasta, not enough salt, seafood not as fresh , and overpriced.

Service was relaxed and friendly - really hit the right note of being attentive and friendly without being too ominpresent or overpowering or cheesy.
2 Starters, 2 Mains, 4 soft-drinks and 2 coffees came to about £50. Both the starters and mains were of a very generous size.
The place certainly does a lot of seafood, but they have a decent selection of non-seafood dishes. Some of the meat-based mains were about £14 or £15 per portion (big portions), but you could get a decent pasta for half that price if you wanted.
Didn't try the desserts as I was too full after a starter and a main.
I really liked it and would happily go back.
