A Cena

This is a good restaurant in as much as the food is excellent,good wine list, not over the top pricewise and the ambiance at night is welcoming. It does lack a warmth that could be rectified by the staff.

We ate here last night and the food was fantastic. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. All four courses were simply superb - better than some Michelin starred places I've eaten in. Can't wait to go back. Just wish we'd visited sooner and not left it a whole year after moving in to the area.

I would say this is the best restaurant in Richmond - and often choose dining here instead of going into the West End.

The food and service are perfect - always a great choice for a relaxed lunch and a lovely dinner menu in the evenings.

well, I've tried it twice and sorry to say would not give it a third try, lunch was rabbit stew with carrots hardly daring and in reality more like school dinners.

Dinner was a family affair o.k. but steak and chips was, again pretty ordinary , as my children judge restaurants on 1 the bread (short supply) 2 chips (oK) 3 the toilets (ok) I am a little more diserning a prefer some decent food.

the reviews do not represent my experience at "a cena," but good food is hard to come by in Richmond, and still is.

A missed opportunity I feel, it should be better.

Ate here on New Years Eve, and what a way to end the year! The four course menu was amazing, the service attentive and the atmosphere warm and friendly.

The Jersualem Artichoke soup, followed by Vodka Spaghetti hit just the right note. Wonderful flavours and generous portions.

I followed by rare roast beef which simply melted in the mouth, and a delicious home made dessert.

If you've not tried A Cena please do, its simply wonderful!

I simply love this place, it's a hidden gem in Richmond. The food is excellent with service to match. The ever changing menu is brilliant and the home-made cheesecake is the finest dessert I've come across. Well done to all at A'Cena.

Excellent food, top service and a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go and sample the fine wines, the pork belly, which is to die for. Not forgetting the homemade ice creams..

My wife and I have eaten here twice in the last two months. On both occasions the food and service were excellent. This has to be a contender for the best restuarant in the area. Will definately be going again.

My girlfriend and I ate here mid-week mid-summer. It lived up to expectation and more. We loved the food, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the wine list kept us choosing!

We will be back.
