Oishii

We've eaten at Oishii about 5 times now and we haven't been disappointed at all. We've always found the dishes fresh, piping hot and delicious and the service is always friendly. Our favourites are the Thai Green Curry, Shanghai noodles and Sizzling beef.

My love affair with Oishi began when I lived in Streatham Hill in 2004. We have been going ever since and I have yet to find cheaper, fresher, tastier sushi in London.

So far, in 2 and a half years they haven't become arrongant, pushed up their prices or compromised on quality as so often happens when a restaurant becomes popular.

the food is excellent, the staff are very attentive and friendly and funky ambious ..a place i would strongly recommend..

strongly recommend the SHA CHA BEEF. and BUONG BO NOUGH.. healthy veitnamese noodles

I enjoy eating at Oishii - I've been several times and think the food is great. The service isn't perfect, it can be a bit frosty - but its a relaxed atmosphere and the standard of the food more than makes up for it.

We shared a really tasty crispy duck and californian rolls for starters, then I had sweet and sour chicken and he had spicy noodles, plus drinks - cost just over £30.

I think its well worth a visit - I really enjoy this place and will be coming back.

I went to Oishii this evening on my own as 'research' as I want to take friends to Japanese in return for them doing me a favour. I won't be taking them here. It was way overpriced, the miserable waitress practically spat 'Just you ?' at me as she came to take my order. £ 12.95 seemed v expensive for a Bento Box, so i struggled to find something I actually wanted to eat. £ 1.80 for a thumb-sized piece of sushi - I don't think so.

Oishi, Oishi , Oishi - you are aking me fat!! The food is soooo nice, the staff are really friendly and they make nte of their regular customrs. I have recommended so many people to Oishi and all of them are hooked!! It is nice for lunch, special occasions or just a nice evening out. They don't rush you to leave nce you have eaten and they are not overbearing with the waiter/waitress attention. Highly recommended!!

I've only been to Oishii a couple of times but it's my favourite place to eat in Streatham hill. The food is great, so is the service and atmosphere, plus reasonable priced sushi to boot (a rarity in London).

This used to be my local restaurant but despite moving we still take the trip up there regularly. The tempura sushi is amazing and the chilli beef ramen is the best hangover cure possibly. Having tried nearly all the dishes on the menu I think it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. Staff are incredibly friendly, the food is great value and the atmosphere is brilliant.
