Oishii

Went there last night. Waiter could not confirm that any of the dishes did not have MSG in them! I explained I was allergic and there were only about 2 dishes which were MSG free!

My partner order the gyoza and the casing was like that of a cornish pastie... very bread like and not very nice.

Massive lumps of fat in the crudely cut fish for the sushi.

Was disappointed and next time will take the bus to Brixton and go to Fujiama.

This is a regular haunt of a group of us and we have always had great food and great service. The garlic squid starter is delicious!! Prices are reasonable and portions generous. I'd thoroughly recommend.

Off to Oishii tonight and needed the number to book and came across these reviews. Can't believe the negative ones are talking about the same place. This is a great little local restaurant providing great tasty noodles, as well as other Japanese dishes. Not only is the food always fresh and tasty but the staff are kid friendly. Great for family meals out.

Can’t recommend it enough.

not sure who the last two comments are directed at but if Oishi they are mistaken. I've been eating at Oishii on and off since they opened.

The food is fresh, tasty and well prepared. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Prices are reasonable too. I would highly recommend.

I have eaten here twice aand I have to say the food and service were really good. A nice variety on the menu- sushi and non-sushi lovers catered for as well as plenty of veggie options

Really disappointed with some sushi I ordered as a takeaway from Oishii last night. Horrid clammy, heavy, starchy rice. Basically overboiled rice. Rolls that fell apart with badly cut pieces of salmon with the brown parts still on inside.

The Nigiri was no better, with thick uneven pieces of salmon laid over the same incipid rice.

Couldnt eat it, money down the drain. This isnt the first time I have had bad sushi from this place but it will be the last. The sushi police should close them down!

As a final insult the prices on the website were 25% less than the price I was actually charged. Avoid! Avoid!

This small cafe/restaurant always provide friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant and toilets are spotless too. The food is freshly made, very tasty with generous sized portions. This is a little oasis of good food and calm in the hustle and bustle of SW16. Kids are also welcome and I wouldn't hesitate to get my asian food from here, given any choice.

My family always order from oishi, even after moving house, the food is always freshly cooked and very tasty.

We have had deliveries and also ate in the restaurant which is very clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere, very chilled.

My favourite has to be the satay chicken which is delicious.

WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
