My husband and I had a fantastic sunday lunch at the Oishii recently.
We particularly enjoyed the streatham maki and the vietnamese Noodles called Buong Bo Nuong . The vietnamese spring rolls and the sha cha rib eye beef was also delicious.
overall impression was very favourable and we will be returing soon.
I thought it was great value for money - definately the Best pan asian South of the River and Streatham :P
we manage to save a little bit of money on the First Round of Drinks when we discovered their Website / promotion section.. print a coupon for a Free drink.

For what it is, it's not that great. Food is bland. Disappointed with the Chilli beef ramen which look and taste like instant noodles. The sushi was pretty average.
In terms of price, it's not very expensive but personally would recommend Slurp further down Streatham High Road which is a cheaper and tastier option.

Best thing in Streatham.
I've been more times than I can count, and I've honestly never had a bad meal here. Everything is delicious and well priced. What more could you want?
Only thing to bear in mind is that their desserts, though perfectly nice, aren't home made and are not really worth bothering with.
However this is hardly a problem, as you can spent your dessert calories elsewhere - by ordering LOADS of starters and mains. You won't miss pudding one bit.
GO, you won't regret it.

We love this place!
I have to admit we've never actually eaten in the resturant itself, but have had loads and loads of takeaways..the food is really fabulous!
Price-wise it isn't cheap, but the food is excellent so you kind of dont mind paying a bit more for it.
The sushi is lovely..spicy tuna maki is one of our favourites, and the Thai green curry is gorgeous. The crispy duck is another favourite..not grreasy in the least, just really tasty and crip..I'm actually salivating typing this!!
If you are ordering for delivery, be prepared that it can take a while to get through as the phone is often engaged...a sign of a good place I think! Also it can take up to an hour for delivery, so if you're starving, bear that in mind!!!
Try Oishii..it really is good.

Oishii is by far the number one restaurant in Streatham in my opinion. the staff, food and ambience are superb. I practically live on their fast and friendly take away service (once a week last month!). Tables aren't too tough to come by and value for cash is excellent
if you are reading this and are considering going, DO IT! you will not be sorry. It's both inexpensive and good for you!
Average cost for four £90-£100.
Recommended: Sushi-Any (Tempura Maki is stupidly tasty)
Satay Chicken,
Ebi Katsu,
Yaki Soba,
Thai Green Curry,
Pretty much everything i suppose really should be tried.

We visited this as our first foray into learing a bit more about our new area and loved it - staff are really happy and helpful without being pushy, decoy is nice and not pretentious nor wagammama-esque bareness
I had a special of hot chicken noodle soup which firstly was cheap (£6), HUGE and filled with not just decent bits of chicken but huge prawns and plenty of vegetables...was gorgeously warming on a cold rainy day. My husband's crispy was lovely, crispy bits actually cripsy and not that nasty greasy fatty texture
we now order in their sushi which is also great value for money, when we can't be bothered to trek up the hill - a gem for Streatham to be sure!

This place is an absolute gem. I discovered it when living in Brixton, but even now I've moved to north London I still make the trek down whenever I fancy sushi or tom-yum soup. Simply the best affordable sushi and tempura I've had outside of Japan. Don't eat the vegetarian noodles however; really bland. Everything else is divine, and highly recommended.

I've just come back from Oishii and it was brilliant. Quite honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The staff were charming, the food was great and the mismatched interior that blended modern Japanese, kitsch oriental and American diner supports and epitomises the tasty accessibility of their diverse menu. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Oishii is definitely one of the nicer (and trendier) restaurants in Streatham. They do a great Tom Yum soup and their sushi is divine. They tend to over-steam their edamame but hey ho! you can't have everything. Or can you?... maybe if they read this, they'll read and learn!

I love this place! I go at least once a month. The food is always so fresh and the service is fantastic. I last went there on a Friday and it was very busy and even so our food arrived quickly. Their sushi is great!
