B&K Salt Beef Bar

Don't be put off by the decor, this is one of the best restaurants in London.

The portions are huge, the atmosphere is great, the prices very reasonable, the owners are fun and you can BYO.

And the food is delicious!

It is without doubt my favourite restaurant in the UK! My wife and I just love the Chicken Soup, the Turkey and those Fish Balls really are just a little piece of heaven! Service is superb and love the little cosy atmosphere. They also catered for my Barmitzvah some 14 years ago and it remains to this day some of the best food I have tasted at a Simcha!

Just wanted to say how much iv enjoyed eating at your establishment over the years. The fish balls over the counter are little pieces of heaven + of course the soup and roast beef completes the perfect package...

Its been a pleasure coming to see Jon and Mike over the years, they make my friends and i very welcome and have always created a superb atmosphere.

B&K is every bit as good as Schwartz's in Montreal & Carngie Deli in NYC. We visit family every year in London and the first & last things we do is to see Michael & John in Edgeware. They always remember us and recall exactly what we like, how we like it and give us extra samples. They even keep regular mustard on hand now for my wife who can't appreciate "English" mustard.

We are heading back on November 1st and on arrival the 2nd, will make our way directly there ....mouth watering as I write this.

Everything is home made, The salt beef is fab, turkey and tongue super, fries yummy, cucumbers ummmmmm, soup, like Grandmas. Need I say more.

Thanx guys for making us feel like family.

i ate at B&K last week and have eaten there before. The food is very exellent and the service was even better, the people are friendly and they are not afraid to make sure your meal is satisfactory.

overall i would reccomend B&K to anyone that may want to try salt beef or any other greek dishes.

B&k is the most faboulas place i have been to eat.The people that work there are so friendly they treat you like you are part of the faminly as you may not know but they are greek;and genrualy grek pourtion are huge. That is why you almost never have any space for any pudding.when michael is on the counter surving you gat huge portions and when john is on the counter you also get huge portions.They ake the most exallent tasting roast beef and the go down with a can of coca cola and a portion of chips. How ever has not been to edgware to B&K IS MISSING OUT ON A GREAT MEAL FOR SURE

Not to forget the fish balls are great.

Lucky enough to live in Edgware and have eaten at B&K since I was a kid.

The food is excellent - top notch salt beef with great latkes and chips. Treat yourself to a lokshen and kneidlach soup beforehand if you can stomach the huge portions.

Go there a few times and the owners will soon know your name and welcome you everytime you enter the place.

The food has been excellent for so many years, why would i need to go anywhere else?

I live over 200 miles away and whenever I come down to London always go to B&K for a meal or two as well as taking away a large package of salt beef for the freezer. Try the fish balls they are superb (I will bringing some of those home as well, this week)....Chopped liver, egg & onion, you name it and you will find it difficult to buy better or fresher than at B&K's.

this place is an absolute definite must to come and eat.

You will be beaten by the beef there.

Succulent and tasty together with the loveliest chips ever. Chopped liver that is out of this world and in a setting that could be your grans dining room.
