Wednesday, August 05, 2009 - The ribbon beef sashimi might not appeal to all, but I would strongly urge you to try it. One of my favourite dishes in the restaurant, it is raw thin marinated slices of beef (usually frozen so there may still be a little bit of iciness in the meat), mixed with very sweet julienned pears and a raw egg yolk. Absolutely delicious. Another must order starter - beef with glass noodles is very tasty despite having quite small amounts of beef (this is a recurring theme)...In general, the quality of the food has remained much the same since the first meal I had there. To me, the food was well seasoned and very tasty.
