Ran Restaurant

Lunched at RAN thursday 23 February with three Korean clients. We were shown directly to their small side room which had not been requested, but seen as very attentive by management. Service was not overbearing but exemplary throughout. The Jumulleok beef was sumptuous, the side dishes were replenished promptly without asking. The Chige was subtle in spices and very enyoyable. Second time I'd eaten there without complaint, and RAN received strong approval from our Clients. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Been there 3 times already, and service was decent on all the times I was there. They're always incredibly busy, but if you're polite to the waiting staff, they're usually helpful and courteous back. I've had no problems with service.

The food has been excellent, and I've yet to find anywhere else with better Korean food at such reasonable prices... I'll be glad to explore further, but for now.. I'm just content going back for more!

Stumbled upon this place quite by chance last time I was passing through Soho. Very reasonably priced, and lovely food. Particularly enjoyed the ribbon beef sashimi and the lack of pretension. People in here seemed to be enjoying themselves, and that's always a good sign.
