Makan

I got regularly takeway lunch from Makan, sometimes eat in.

The location (under the motorway bridge) and the decoration is certainly not glamorous but this is not the point : you go there to have cheap and healthy food (vegetables + meat + rice or noodles for £4.5, more if you choose the special courses)

Staff is friendly and truely Malaysian, totally unpretentious like the place : a treat nowadays in London.

Altgether, £4.5 for a healthy lunch (that prevent you to by crap from the Tesco if you are working in the area and if you have no canteen, Makan does its job very well. If you are in the area and if you want a cheap and good quick lunch, you just have to go there.
