Malay House

I don't know how many times I have been to the Malay house, The food is fantastic, every dish tastes wonderful. My Sister is a regular traveler in Asia and rates the food as the most authentic she has tasted in the UK. My nephew - a 5 year foodie himself loves it too, especially the puds.
The Service is always friendly and welcoming and corkage is reasonable.
So the place is small and not lavish, but the prices and taste keep us coming back for more. Indeed we are off to have our fix tonight.
If you are there on a Sat night we would recommend booking.

Myself and partner visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday for their Sunday Buffet and will definitely be going back again!
For £7.00 the selection and quality of the food was great. The Lamb Soup was absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection! There was a good selection of main courses too catering for meat eaters and vegetarians.
Come to the desert, I had to give it a miss as I had more of the Lamb Soup - just couldn't resist it! My partner had the desert of Banana Fritters and Sweet Potato Cake Fritters and enjoyed these.
I found the waitress to be very polite and helpful and the cook to be very friendly.
The only downside of this restaurant was the heat. I found it very hot in there and had to use a piece of card to fan myself.

Having been to the East Indies several times I can vouch for the authenticity of the cuisine at Malay House.
Simple decor, pleasant staff, easy atmosphere and top food at a very fair price.
Not licensed but you can nip over the road to the Co-op for a BYO.
Recommended - give it a try!
