This place is accurately described by other reviews -- cramped space but fabulous food and a great value. The multi-ethnic clientele add to the fun. Order your kebab atop one of those massive rounds of sesame-seed-studded bread and you've got a seriously tantalizing meal.

I went to Patogh last night. It was just great. Large tasty portions of chicken and/or lamb kebab, on a choice of iranian bread or salad. It's bring your own so not only is the food very good value but they don't fleece you on the drinks.

Want a place which is perfect value for money? Patogh is it! My fiance and I ate a hearty meal for under £10 here and never miss an opportunity to go back. Why? The bread is to die for, as are the lamb kebabs. The cucumber dip is also a great compliment to go with this dish...Other must tries here are the tea and the rice. Mouth-watering! The location is rather awkward as it the restaurant itself. Usually have to wait to be seated, and seating is cramped - Much squeezing to be done as the tables are practically on top of each other. However, none of this deters foodies such as myself from going back there...Great for a casual meal between friends.

I'm so stuffed I can't move.
Just got back from Patogh and had a lamb koboodeh kebab which was great. It was so large I had to share it with a friend and we're both still stuffed!
It's true, the place is tiny, but cosy - it feels like you're in a cave - and ideal for a quick stop meal or even takeaway.
Happy eating!

Good food and (very) large portions for the money. Worth going back to.

Great food-not so sure about previous reviewer "the best Iranian food I have ever tasted!" It is a great (I'll say cosy as it's a bit small) sit down kebab restaurant with good food but lets not go crazy! It can get crowded, and if sitting downstairs is v strong smell of cooking meat that will permeate your clothes etc. Is BYO too-overall a great place to have up your sleeve. Go to the numerous middle Eastern cafes up Edgware Road for coffee/dessert.

This is a lovely little place to eat out. The portions are a good size and the price is considerably cheap for Central London.
They need more space as there is no access for disabled people, you can't move your chair without causing an inconvenience to others. They try and squeeze you in, but they seriously need to make thier business more accesible.
Apart from the lack of space and problems trying to get a seat (sometimes even after you have booked in advance) this place is a little Jem!! Hidden away off Edgeware Road - just waiting to be discovered.
I would highly recommned it, they are so busy that it's proof the food is excellent when people are willing to wait for 1 hour outside in the cold just to get a seat.
