Abu Zaad

i drive for 45 minutes just to get to abuzaad's i love it and recommend it to all, very very very nice food if you have taste you'll agree, and the service is excellent!

the price is brill, we are a family of 4 adults and we eat to the max for less than £30,

also the food is healthy which you will not feel guilty about. i will give it full mark.

Excellent place to eat. A wide range of choices on the menu with dishes priced from around £2-8. Being a vegetarian it is nice to eat at restaurant that has such a wide choice of dishes and my meat eater friends also complement the choices and dishes on offer. Staff are pleasent enough and will help you with any queries you have about the menu.

If you want a cheap, well-fed and relaxed place to eat then Abu Zaad is well worth a visit.

Highly overated and terrible service.

Been to the restaraunt thrice now and got bad service two times.

The service is very slow and the waiters cannot explain what the dishes mean !!!

They could join the english speaking school just opposite it.

Took 15 mins before a waiter came around to take the order...it was 3.30 pm and theyrent busy at all.

So start off they didnt have juices on the menu.

Ordered thier slowly cooked lamb shank and it took 55 minutes to come, had to ask 4 times only to be told the grill was busy with kebabs !!!

The lamb kebabs were very tough and slightly uncooked.

Ordered a potato curry which was had foul smell and must be dated.

Ordered homous with pita bread,but got pita bread and homous 15 mins later by which time the pita was rock solid.

Finally ordered fruit cream which they were sold out.

Did get free traditional sweets only after complaining !!!

This restaraunt does pull in the crowds but the service is pathetic and food overated.

Just on the next block is Solomon's Cafe which makes better kebabs,macdonald style service and very keen pricing.

I love this restaurant. I have been a few times now and they have very reasonable prices for well cooked and lovely food - great service - friendly - clean - will be back again and again.....

Excellent restaurant serving a wide variety of genuine Syrian cuisine. The food is magnificent and extremely well priced. Not the classiest restaurant restaurant but for the price and quality it cant be beaten.

Overated. Despite the reviews below lots of bog standard dishes and not as cheap as you'd think. 5 quid for a pot of tea isn't great value in my book.
